no, but you can replace it with a makro, which, with some creativity and thought put into it, is even more useful and versatile than the space bar targeting

as much i hate to say this, but... they fixed it. no you can't target sources with spacebar (or any other key atm), but spacebar is linked to "Target Enemy" action... source is not enemy
make macro, and stack all needed source names there, one will stick

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best laugh I have had all day lol.
I honestly believe you have several distinct types of players in the game. You have you player that RPs and does not need much in content. On the other end of the spectrum, you have your player that doesn't RP that is looking for missions, quests, kitin invasions to battle to change and effect the world and so on, so that player definitely is awaiting and wanting more content. Then you go players that are somewhere in the middle that like to RP and would like to see more content, even though they would continue to play the game without any new content for a little while, to supplement player content and RP'ing that would just make Ryzom that much more better.
I personally enjoy the game as is although I do know it could be better with additional "content" such as kitin invasions, more missions and rites where completing them affects your status with the races and/or the kami and karavan because as it is now there is not much of an affect and many rites are broken, a gaming world that is affected by the actions of players such as failing to turn back a kitin invasion results in the lost of outposts and/or maybe one of the cities. I do believe these things are coming though. It is just that Ryzom is a young game, Nevrax a young and small company, and for it to succeed we must try our best to support them.
Yes, I am a fan of the game, but I'm not blind either. I do see areas that need improving, problems that need addressing and fixing, but I'm not going to flame anyone who wants to see improvements or at the same time enjoys the game as is. Nor am I going to make umpteen posts and threads complaining about the same thing over and over. If one is so unhappy with Ryzom, take a break from playing or if you have to, move on. It is never good for someone to leave and/or quit as that is one less person supporting the game, but one should never continue doing something that makes them unhappy. In the meantime, hopefully, there are enough of us here that are willing to stick with Nevrax through this rough spot they are going through and to see the growth and fruition of Ryzom and all it can be.

Games Workshop, Steve Jackson Games, Wizards of the Coast, White Wolf Publishing and, on the computer games side, every MMORPG publisher and the makers of any customisable RPG/Action game would appear to disagree with you.
Yes, you CAN just sit around making up stories, lots of people do, I do it at least once a week, but in structured play using rules and worlds created by others (and myself).
What you're paying for _here_ is a beautiful world, access to a creative community of people amongst whom you can RP within this imaginative world.
All this quests and levelling nonsense is just a distraction for when there aren't PEOPLE to play with.
Getting nada?
Open your eyes.

That is a fair point actually
Problem as I see it is that if too many people talk about cutting Nevrax some slack and waiting patiently they may get the feeling that somehow the pressure is off and they can slow down a little. I for one certainly don't believe they're doing nothing, but at the same time it is important for them to know that however supportive we may be, they are still obligated to deliver within a reasonable timeframe, and in all fairness to buzyb77, there are still some substantial elements missing from what is mentioned on the box and in the manual (and changing the manual is
not an acceptable fix

)
Now I realise they're working on stuff and they have a small dev team, but that to me suggests they should focus a little more on reining in the marketing and publishing people and making sure that what is in the manual etc will be available at launch, because to be honest, if they'd made no mention of outposts etc in the manual, then half the complaints would probably not happen in the first place. To suggest something is in the game, then not have it some months after launch is just asking for trouble, and in all fairness to the complainers, Nevrax should have realised this and avoided the situation in the first place.
