Heres one, a real CHALLENGE for our great Devs....

A launcher that doesnot take up so much space, and that allows you to carry more ammo also.

The laucher is a great weapon, BUT why make or use it if it takes up so much space. You cant seriously think we would bravely drag our Mektoub paccker to the roots just to take that weapon with us.

Ther are other weapons that take up less space, and are easier to use.

I do believe that the (auto) launcher was intended as a defense weapon, during raids, and not a weapon to go hunting with.

Riot Shields for us gun wielders :)
Make Burning Rifles
Similar to the Racial Guns like flamethrower:
Flamethrower- Fyros weapon like earlier stated, small but quick burn malus
Acid Pump- Matis weapon that pumps acid, gives a slow, but strong acid malus
Tesla Cannon- Zorai weapon that shoots lightning, malus that makes the target unable to dodge/parry
Some Kind of Pulse Device- Tryker weapon that makes the enemy unable to attack

basicly i'd just like special weapons to be implemented

glowwing swords (the ones the kings wield) etc etc with missions to get the items to craft them
just some special name stuff, the dmg should be bit higher but not that much... just to have the feeling u might have something special

If u create for each race 5 special swords (with other looks) u'll make 20 new weapons.

if u do it for each different sort (axes etc etc) u can really give the players something new. and this might up the market again too

I kinda like the idea of resticting certain weaponss to those who complete a long range of missions. Weapons that you cant craft!

whips, weighted chains, nets and lassoos (sp?)

so the front line can really hold down the enemy while the nukers do their job..ATM this is sort of possible with blunt/slow weopons, I think, havent tried it out properly..

defensive weopons - big tower shields, boar spears (there is something that atys needs ! ), parrying weopons - jitte/sai/main gauche.

How about anything that might have to do with karavan? Maybe range sucks cause they are coming out with rail guns and laser rifles?

Ahh if the Karavan even provided me with one ranged technology, they might have me as their most faithful ranger, as of now the Kami seem the most benevolent and their followers are abundant

One of the things I have not seen mentioned yet is the idea of caltrops/tire spikes. A bit of bark, a bit of sap, a fiew teeth or what ever, and then you can drop them when you run, either to get away from something, or to hurt it as it comes to you after taunted. Give it a slow movement malus, like when you aim for somethings legs, since this is basicaly what it is. Not much damage, but that slow movement malus can be indispensable, sometimes.

BTW, a whip would be slashing, especialy if you have a fang on the end.
