I thought that as well at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I decided it was better the way it is. After all, how much would it change the balance of the game to have an endless number of untimed self-heals so close at hand?

No, having to rummage through your bag to find the right potion is much better, and more realistic. :P I see them as being fast "restoratative" potions, for use before or after battle, rather than something to be used in the heat.

Fun way to test the potion/plant/thingy addition they are working on.

Fun event too, to cool off from the one before it. Relax a bit and have careless fun.

First of, had no real idea what it was about, suspected something to do with the goo (noooo I am not obsessed with goo, thanks for asking ;) ), popped by Knot of Dementia. Hmmm, nothing.

A previous event had kitin secretion popping up some places, so started with some harvesting. Nothing there either.

Took another route back to the lovely city Zora. On the way I spot something in the tall grass.
Someone to give a much needed rez?
A new tiny creature?
A infant kitin to charm and keep as a pet?
The answer to the difficult question on the last test?

Approaching this unknown, and in all likelyhood evil creature, very carefully one peculliar ability becomes apparent. It doesn't have a name over it.
Curious and curiouslier.
Preparing to use all know abilities and boosts know to hominkind, the last steps are taken to get within striking distance (also noteing that the aggro distance is less than 1m).

It is an egg! What the Durf?

I start to laugh loudly, which makes my dog stare at me with its special look and probably thinking to itself "this is the master that I trust with my very excistance?".

Now how to open it? Beat it of course, hilarious. :)

After that I note another egg, remember to take screenshots this time too.
Wow, speed up boosts.
A plan starts to evolve in the reptile part of the brain, get eggs to get other eggs faster!

Starts to run around all over Witherings (and for once cackling with evil laughter at the low number of homins in the regions), the eggs are all mine. Mine I tell you.

*starting to get 'high' on eggs*

There must be an egg boss somewhere too, have to find it.

Experiements with spells on eggs. Stuns make small bubbles above them look drunk. It can't roll away when using fear, so as a reward it gets a madness spells untill it pops open.

Got more eggs, drop off all excess equipment at the packers.

*Under heavy eggfluence*

Trying to sharp shot on the eggs.

I know what you are thinking, did I fire 5 or 6 shots? Well go ahead yolk, make my day.

Muahaha, eggs are not social, taste my autolancher wrath *pow*

*paints a dozen eggs black and put on tiny guns, trenchcoats and hats*
It is a mob of eggs, get it? It is a gang! The dirty dozen! *laughs hysterically*

Bag becomes full of eggs. :D

*Bordering on an egg overdose*

*dances around*

"I'm the minstrel man, the cleaning man, the pole man, the shoeshine man, I'm a egg man, watch me dance."

:D

What can I say, another fun holiday event.
Now we got candy canes and egg nog battles comming up. :p
Really enjoyed both events that day, it really reinforced my hope for the games future.

I thought it was a good, simple, fun suprise.

I really see no need for it to be yet anther way for all the max/min Uber charater players out there to gain anther edge.

Just a little bit of Fun to break the digging hunting cycle, good job!

To be clear, in my estimation there are STILL hundreds of eggs in existence. Hunt now, or forever hold your egg salad. I fear that the eggs will disband on the next server reset, likely Thursday or Friday with a patch.

I personally would love to see them stick around and be persistant for nothing else than to know when the last egg is claimed (btw, very different from found). I think it would be a long time, maybe May or June without an event to cleanse all of Atys of the Faberge eggs

Great fun and I was even able to get some on my schedule. (Not till late Monday night!) which is a major difference from many events.

This brings great hope to me of finding many other animals in existence in the future. Can't you just see Yubo's and Gubanies mating? :D A Capryini-Vorax? How about a Yetin-Cuttler? (eek)

Sometimes you just can't please people. No matter what is done, they won't be happy with it.

I didn't make it but sounds like a lot of fun was had. Isn't that what we are in game for to have fun.

magick1, that is by far one of the funniest things I've read in awhile. You win an internet for your quality injection of humor into this forum.

And Fear and Loathing is a great movie, that whole scene where that line was spoken makes me lol with wild abandon. Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro were great in that movie, the book was even weirder than the movie (may the author rest in peace).

Agreed Shinigami, a truly awesome movie :) I have yet to read the book, but I hope to do so very soon! RIP Hunter S Thompson...

And to the starter of this thread : Easter Egg = Small Surprise. Nothing more, nothing less. If you expect any more from an Easter egg, you've been spoiled too much, and your perception of Easter is not as it should be :)
