with that being said i odn't know what other content, sides outposts, the game really needs, 95% of the ppl don't use any of the content we have right now so why do you need more?


if you say there is none let's look at it

1 fame missions
2 boss mobs
3 boss tribes
4 general adventuring
5 the rites that are active now

so unless you do all four, which i know no one does anyways, quit whining and complaining we have no content because any new content you're going to complain about a lack of it now

so to you ppl that fall into that catagorey SHUT YOUR BLOODY CAKE HOLE NOW or you can leave the game

now for fixing bugs and such, i full agree that the game needs a bug fixes and fix all the issues since release first before new stuff is added bravo for them doing that now and i will gladly take these fixes over new things being added.

1. Fame atm is useless anyway, so u can say there is no reward, except getting better prices from merchants.

2. They're fun but again there isn't much of a real reward ( 2-60 supreme mats...)except the fun in killing them, although by now i think we've killed some 90% of the boss mobs before. (kill them again and again...?)

However after many hours of searching for the locations, and checking time and time again if they spawned or not, just to have to read on the German forums from a player saying that they were deactivated due to being too close to a spawn/portal, is a bit frustrating. Why did Nevrax not let us know? The CSR-team says they are active but thats it, we can't even know if they ever were deactivated. I'd like a response from Nevrax on this. For all we know we could have passed by the boss location many times before only he was deactivated or already killed ( unlikely) or is not where he is 'supposed' to be.

4. Exploring is still fun, especially in small teams where every player's input counts and tactics are more important than skills to stay alive. Theres still much i haven't seen but does this really count as content anyway?

5. Rites; i've done all that are possible to complete except for some crafting ones, and lots of prereqs but am waiting now for more to be added since its kind of like searching for a needle in a haystack now to find more ency entries.

Personally, I'd rather have more content instead of bug fixes (and new bugs)
People that have managed to stay with Ryzom this long aren't waiting for more bug fixes, but for more content. Now if this bugfixing will increase the speed they can implement more content in mid-term, thats a whole other story...

Actually I have done fame missions up the wazoo. Taking down the boss mobs holds no interest as there is no xp, the only reward is crafting mats. Challenge does not play into take down the bosses as it's all about firepower and not strategy. There really isn't enough people online to even attempt the boss tribes. I've explored and adventured to most corners of Atys, so much so that I have mapped and gotten a fame listing with the majority of tribes. I have completed all but one rite that is available to me. In order to complete that I need to level my crafting skills which will take about a day.

So now that I have explained to you why there is no content I think you can SHUT YOUR BLOODY CAKE HOLE. As for the bug fixes, IF THEY HAD FRICKEN DONE ANY TESTING AT ALL WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO SUFFER FOR MONTHS WITHOUT AN UPDATE.

thing about programming, which you obliviously don't have a clue about, is that you can test all you want and they admited they had limited testing abilities, is you can't find all the bugs

also you can't have done all the rites missions there are because you need positive karavan and matis fame for that, which i know you don't have

I have a Bachelors in Computer Science so I know about programming. Your first semester in any computer science program you learn very basic software development. During that process you learn that after you code something you test its functionality. If the functionality does not work, you don't give it to the customer. Aside from that the arguement that they had limited testing abilities is garbage. We aren't talking about bugs that only occur in some cases or even bugs that are minor annoyances. We are talking about bugs that happen 100% of the time and that prevent usage of the software. Some very simple testing would of easily shown that the encylopedia and rites were far from working.

Now if you could read you would of saw that I said that I have completed all but one rite that is available to me. Because of my fame listings I can not do Matis or Tryker rites.

Finally about me saying creative things. All you have to do is visit the saga boards and you will see that I have contributed plenty of creativity to this game. Much more than you have.

None of the rites currently on the live server require positive karavan fame.

Those things are not content, at least to me. Content that I am talking about is...

Story line from NPC's IN game, without a song and dance first
FEWER quests that reward MORE, not more quests that are nerfed into worthlessness


patch ONE ended my Mission days. Prepatch one, I could do Supplier missions or crafting what suppliers "would buy" and end up ALMOST even, forage for ten minutes to make up for the loss. NOW...I can't justify doing missions since I need to forage for ten hours JUST to HOPE to get enough mats to grind ONE level, maybe one and a half....maybe

Something FUN that brings the JOY and excitement back to the game...for me the fun is DEAD...long live the GRIND.

Until the storyline is in game, giving the worthless wandering crowds in town SOMETHING to do other than lag people out, travel is somewhat easier than racing blindfolded across I 20 in rush hour traffic, and there is something more FUN to do in game...I say we all have a RIGHT to moan and whine.

well if you are a comp sci person,then you'd know that adding more content adds more bugs and they have to solve the ones they have now first. secondly you'd know that no matter how much testing you do, you can't find all the bugs

and that's nice you've visited about half the tribes in atys, need a few more pages before you've visited all the tribes

as for your "content" you've added, well i guess your moaning and complaining like a spoiled child is adding lots of content to the game, way to go you've added the most by far out of anyone in the game
