Out of interest what do lvl 250 healers other than rest the fingers after repeatedly pressing the right double heal spell?

Regarding the point of a tank/nuker/healer team being less effective due to the healer having to heal two people, this is quite simply not the case whenever I have hunted. This team vs 1 mob, the nuker does not require healing until -after- the fight.

True, during an add situation, the nuker will require healing too. The healers I work with haven't been playing since OB1 and aren't true experts of their fields, and -certainly- not Celestial Guardians, but heck, they manage fine!

and what about this one,
go any lvl 200-250 area with in team of 3 or 4, get about 1k xp per kill maybe yes.
but go there to have fun, to be with team mates and get some xp while having fun :) .

Oh power lvling 200-250 as fast as possible might be fun too but doesnt last very long as far as i could see.

Have fun, lvl slowly but surely, at 250 is nothing left but a title which means u cant practice anymore lol

I agree with you that this would be more sensible (if its your cup of tea - its not mine since I hate not being in control of everything) but the question raised was about lvling not about hunting in general. And lvling imho is always tried in the fastest possible way.

The only reason I actually level up my elem mage was for the possibility to help my guild make trips from one area to another and to help my wife harvest in Nexus. Being able to kill some decent lvl named mobs now is a nice side effect. (to get excl mats)

hehe, indeed sky
same objective as well (im only 200 in 4 branches ;) )

Tho i think im gonna hate been 250 in the way that when helping guild for trip, the fact of getting them xp is always part of the help.
Rushing to 250 and killing xp in all circumstances takes some of the fun of lower ppl away imo.
I tend to level this way: Power lvl to 190, lil rest time to enjoy my skill to 200 and then slowly in hunt and events.
Thats for figth obviously: no rest at 200 in harving ;p

Not that there are any level 200 off afflicters that I know of off hand, but the classic root/nuke team always worked well on a number of low hp aggro mobs. Hello mr. awesome torbak, stay doggie, die doggie. :)

What I've found really amusing is that many of the powerleveled nukers and healers had been the loudest most obnoxious fanbois several months ago - and now are leaving the game in droves since they're bored. Also points out, as I've said elsewhere, that damage balance across melee/ranged/nuker/healer/afflicter needs a desperate look after it got turned on its head with patch 1. Doubt it will happen as the whining from players suddenly not able to take advantage of the easy route would rival that of harvesters pre-patch 1++ and Nevrax just can't afford another exodus like that.

You get what you ask for. Just make sure that if you follow the powerlevel path you have something else you like doing a lot, especially when you die and need to work off that level 250 DP. There's something to be said for DP gone in 3 digs rather than 3 hours. :)

Partially off-topic, but I was wondering, what happens to XP at level 250?

When someone reaches level 250, do they then get no xp if using the level 250 tree, so make the rest of their party also get 0xp? I hope not, because that would kinda defeat the whole point of being level 250 for me: Being able to help others (my guildmates mainly) easier.

Aajolea, I know you're a Celestial Guardian, so what happens if you're in-team with someone and you heal?
