Yeah, forced respawn if the kami blows you up is a nice idea. I like it.

But I don't think it solves the issue.
Actually I think guarenteed DP will be a HUGE deterant. You get that warning and you know you're gonna get DP if you don't stop. Sure would stop me, and lots of others too.
I didn't forage in tonight in Dyron because the tolerance bar was rather low. People really should watch that bar and not forage in an area if its low. It's not good for you or your fellow foragers.

Oh, I agree its a deterrent...when the bar is at zero.
But there's absolutely zero, zippo, nilch, no consequences for aggressively taking down the other 99% of the bar. In fact, you're a lot better off taking it down like that in terms of time-spent-per-mat-pulled, regardless of your faction allegiance. Besides the fact that you might get other harvesters grumbling when you stripmine an area, there really isn't any in-game impact when you behave like this.
I just think there should be given that a major part of the game lore is focused on Kamis preserving the land. DP from kami death is a nice touch, but has absolutely nothing to do with making players' actions impact the world. Repeatedly taking down tolerance should impact the world and the player who does it, which is my point.

For those of you unfamiliar with it, Dyron is probably the single easiest q200 site in the game
I would say Knot of Dementia, just outside Zora (main city of the Zorais).
Quality 200 spots right at the door step and you don't have to fight for most of them, I never did at least.
You can have the whole place almost to yourself.
