*chuckle*, our Frydes is having a bad Monday methinks :)

If you find that quite rude, I imagine you haven't met many Brits in your time :D

And I don't think smileys would have helped the post that much, hehe :)

Poor old Azal...

Heh, actually I know your IRL name isn't Hans (I saw you post about it somewhere before) but I rudely decided to see how you would like being insulted ;) Anyways, apologies for the offence, but some of the things you said about Azal were un-called for

Who may I now laugh about while he is being serious, as it seems to get worse when you get angry?
BUT! Whenever I will play any other MMO, we will meet, as you shine out like a coffeestain on a white dress, 10 minutes before the party starts.

Miss you and happy Valentines Day to you, Azal.
I actually found it quite funny. In a stand up comedian kind away...

Take out the hard bits and it says:
I consider you very special on the forums and always enjoy reading your posts. Please dont leave perminently and if you do, I hope we meet again in another world.

I took care not to write: *laugh at*, I exaggerated his bad spelling into *eye-burning abuse*, made a weird link to white casterpants...

And yes, heavy monday :P

btw: did I flame a troll? OMG....

Grtz,

I'm talking about themes, not actions.
All MMO's, even Ryzom, seem stuck in a similar mindset, only able to progress a little bit at a time, levels, grind etc.

Ryzom at least has an interesting world, a dynamic skill system and doesn't just trot out the same, tired, sub-Tolkien fantasy tropes all over again.

A play tabletop RPGs, I've seen enough fantasy heartbreakers (D&D, only BETTERER!) to last me a lifetime.

It may well be D&D/Everquest (Only BETTERER!) but I don't care! Fantasy, booooorrrring unless you do something really radical and different with it, which it isn't. Even the adverts for WoW are illegally misleading.

Becos i wonder how menny yubo's kipie's and varnix you have kild and how menny howers you have spend in the same spot to get a level. How menny day's / weaks have gone by to level harvest in dyron.

The only good thing about Ryzom is the comunity and the skill system and GFX. Thats the reason its a averedge game.

WoW has kids and is cartoonish i 100% argree. But it has its advantages. It takes you on a trip trugh the world with quests, craft and reward. Its not all bad its eaven fun. If you set yor minde and think ryzom is bether then wow then you cant start to play a game and judge it optimaly.

So i would say tray it but forget about what ppl say and make up yor own minde.

Angry? I'm not angry. But i'm just quoteing somting thats not right. So wy the grudge? You got a problem with my spelling like i have a problem with yor flame about it. Dont want a kiddy game but you like the kiddy talk.

I wonder where i sed the ryzom whosent a good game. It whos a nice game and i will come back if i have somting to do (other then killing x mob for a whole weekend).

The fun part is you call me a troll while i defend this game. Its ppl like you that make wow a kindergarden.

Yank here.

Y'all worry about WoW? Ha!

Guildwars is going to make a killing on all 3 fronts.

(WoW & EQ2 gonna take a hit too).

hans1976 wrote:How many will we lose to WoW and how many will come back?

I think about 40-50% of total population will try WoW, I think 10 to 20% of paying customers will leave for WoW.

But then again, I might be wrong...

Grtz
Probably you might not count in percent. People who like Ryzom will always come back. WoW can give you only long term motivation if you like your daily clanwar, since the battlfields are the true long term target of WoW.
