Encyclopedia "Big dot" missions

That is the problem. The actual encyclopedia rite you will not get. You can get as many prerequesits as you want.

Umm, I've done the entire thing. Rite and everything. I have the +50 focus given at the end and the big amber blob in the Rites section. I've completed it.

Do you mean I won't get the rites for the ones after this? I haven't managed to get all three tasks completed for any of the others I've opened so I don't know but I'm ever hopeful.

I am a low level Matis explorer. I talk to the NPCs a lot and run around. I have, without trying too hard, 4 encyclopedia entries. One for MG, one for Ragus, one for Crafting and one for the Karavan. And I'm sure there are more too.

You see, I have all 3 Ragus etries, all 4 for Kizoar and all 3 (or 4) Majestic Garden. Still I can't find the rite missions and since I cant ask no NPC about it, how am I supposed to know what to do?
I bet the Rites are not meant to be done all in one day, but I dont think they were meant to be super-hard (imposible) to get.

About the foragers mission, im still to do it and the first ambercube introduction missión will be done after the next patch. (Would realy like to have done it at the patch which were promised!
I still have Good fait in Nevrax!

I am Tryker, but I have visted Matis to do some of the Rites (noted on this/other post)

The rites givers I know of:

Barman - South Yrk outside the pub tree.
Intendant - South Yrk, up the ramp with 4 guards.

Its bugged, it worked before the last patch, now I can get anything to come up.

I got the 2 mission mats (spit and spice) and q200 excellent beng to pop up, got what i needed and went off to see the prospector, however all she wanted was the necklace back to recharge and not the mats and so I ticketed it.

After the patch the area now gives me nothing, I was even there with a guide showing them, all I got in response was "Well ppl have done it", most useful when guides dont believe their own eyes.

Now 2 other ppl have said they got the same, I will try it again tonight to see if the server changes lawrence has made has fixed it.

Oh, I had that problem. Dug up all the mats but, as it hadn't come up in my mission window at that point to dig those specific mats (it still said about the hill) I couldn't give them to the NPC and had to wait for another evening. But it worked when I did.

Hi all
I tried to do this rite mission and all was ok till I got this pedant from prospector- than i spend next 2 hours waiting for sunset and runnuing up and down this hill
Pls explain to me is there any hook ??
I wasn't the only1 runner lol few other peeps tried also (btw it was the right hill 'cause one of players did this mission before patch so..)

If you wait on the hill you will be shown the way at sunset. It is fairly obvious where you should go from there. Make sure you are an excellent harvester....

It seems that since the last patch the pendant has stopped working. I and several others have tried many times and nothing happens at sunset, no matter where you are on top of the hill.

Problem is, as already mentioned, no-one seems willing to admit there's a problem with this rite. I have been assured several times by GMs that it is completeable, and actually know folks who have completed it (prior to the last patch). However, I have a suspicion that the sources in the area you are lead to are along the same vein as the mats in Nexus and PR - that being they are there prior to a reboot but as soon as they're dug they're no longer available for anyone else. I mentioned this to a GM who said that it was a possibilty and they would pass it on to the devs. Whether this was done or not I don't know.

What I do know is that I have been on that hill top in every season and every weather condition and no sources have been available at the spot the pendant takes you to, and since the patch the pendant hasn't worked once.

I have asked GMs to try the mission for themselves to see, but they tell me they can't do that. A lot of people have said to me that they've given up on that rite until it's fixed, but it seems to me that until someone at Nevrax is willing to even admit there's a problem, this rite will remain unfinished for many people.

I feel for you guys, I really do. I want to ask things like "are you standing on the right hill?", "did you actually stay there until sunset?" and "did the quest text in the windo change?" but I know you're not stupid people so I know you'll have checked all these. Which means I don't know what to do to help. I can't just keep posting up "I did it! After the patch! ME!!!". I'll look like a maniac! So if there is a problem with it, it didn't happen to me. Perhaps abandoning the rite and starting it again (just the last bit, that's not too taxing really) will have an impact but once more, you've probably tried that.....
