Haven't made it to the Nexus to pvp yet. Be warned though, I will one day return there to remove the Karavan invaders!

About RP. I didn't really do any of it for quite some time. I was just like most players and not really interested. Even thought it was kind of silly. Then I got to the point where the original poster seems to be. I was getting bored, didn't feel things were moving storywise, I need more. So I decided to just try RP to give meaning to my time playing Ryzom. Once I started I was hooked. Excitement for the game came back 10 fold. It wasn't a matter of logging in to get another skill or another level. Now I had a reason to be in game, my play time had a real purpose. Since then the game has become progressivly more fun. Slowly but surely other players are getting into the spirit of things.

So before you give up, give RP a try. You will get hooked.

I dont RP - but once the grind is done I will happily meet Raynes on the balttlefield.

I love PVP, i truly hope that someone in nevrax will pay close attention to it as balance must be constantly adjusted. Right now you can really pvp chances of success or failure are too predictable once you know the level of an opponent
