I don't see a real big issue with this either. For selling the PR mats to a hawker, you need to find / reach a hawker in the first place. To my knowledge there are around 4-6 hawkers per area.

If you take those mats to your packer instead, which meant 2 TP's and a bit of running its basically the same imho.

Just a question or curiosity, which nation is the lucky one where the PR mats get offered for sale once sold at a PR hawker? I never saw any for sale when I checked.

Hmm, taking your comparison of a Javing (or similar) to a clopper, I would always expect a clopper to drop more mats - after all, it's 8-10 times bigger/more substantial (if not more) than your average bird, and surely that counts for something :) You can't quarter what doesn't exist, after all... :)

always seems to be some overpriced pr mats in Pyr.

I would just like it to be more of an effort for some players to 'strip mine' the PR.

some players (like me!) don't get to the PR often (mainly due to low melee lvl etc) and it's very annoying when we do, to find someone has left it barren. And then to find hundreds of mats for sale at the merchants back in town!

Like adding salt to the wound!

Mind you, from time to time, i've found some reasonably priced PR mats for sale too. So someone out there, who ever you are, thank you!

People who go into the PR and find a source. Fill their bag, but can't be bothered to go back to thier packer, so they just sell to the nearest NPC merchant of hawker. Then they simply keep digging and repeating the process. No wonder there are never any mats in the PR.

This should be stopped NOW.

Simply make it that you can't buy back your own mats once up for sale.
tbh I dont see a problem with this. Hawkers are there for that very reason to buy from and sell too.. ive sold PR mats to hawkers before, not excessivly but just purely to clear surplus stuff (unwanted mats) thats wasting bag space.

At the end of the day you probabley just went during the wrong season and/or had some crappy weather... Coz aslong as im not looking for some thing specific I always seem to find some thing to dig up in PR..

I cant / want to harvest in PR. Everytime I see PR mats at the merc I or someone I know can use, I buy em. So probably they are for sale for a *very* short time when the price is right :-)

All i get is depleted messages. Sometimes weather/ season but i've started mapping them out.

I've no problem with people selling thier mats at the hawkers for reasonable amounts of dapper (hey, we all have to make a living), but to use it as temporary storage is wrong.

If you can harvest in PR and can make it safely to your sources, then by all means you deserve to be there. But some people are ruining this by using this widely known exploit.

This is the last i'll say on the matter now. If the devs keep it in then fine. I will not be upset. But i will be happier for the loop-hole to be closed as have the other ones.

My PR foraging lvl is going up (slowly!), so if they leave the exploit in, you may find me selling q70 excellent sap for 325655 dapper a piece!!!!!

I will buy one then, just for the sake of the argument ;-)

I think it's important to have people in trying to exploit. I don't but it keeps me on my toes! Means I fight for a better bargain and stop purchasing from people I have seen using this as a means for easy money. I only up the prices on objects I have made that I think have an increased value due to the time and effort spent creating it. That's what it's there for, isn't it?

i agree with the last 2 posts too i always check what im buying before i click it :)

the suggestions of max % arent a solution as the % system is still crap in my opinion

i like to sell my items at a nice round number but there is no way to input my price i want i have to keep clicking the thing till it gets roughly close to what price i want

You think it will be any different when they don't use the hawkers and TP out and in again? You didn't get the meaning of my post. By the time you try to harvest the spots they are empty either way.

PR is broken and they seem not inclined to fix it. So people will get used to use choice mats in most cases and excl mats in some.

Who needs supreme stuff anyhow? The only item that really makes a big difference is supreme ambers in a magic amp.
