On a side note, I'm somewhat concerned by the future race divergence. I just hope that the experience will bring enough excitement to the game to warrant the inevitable backlash from players who will feel wronged by such a move. Of course, I could be totally off base here and everyone will love the change. I've been wrong before, so here's hoping.
A few follow up questions:
1) Is the patch schedule mostly going to be a monthly thing?
2) If the plan to add story stuff every patch? Or is it going to be every few patches?
3) I had read awhile back that the game was designed so that content such as new missions could be added without having to shut down the servers, is this still true?
4) Is the deliver mission bug going to be fixed in the first patch?
Thoughts suggestions concerning the chat channens/system:
The single most annyoing thing about the chat system is that there are times when you don't have the chat window in focus, you start typeing and all the windows start opening and closing. Is something going to be done to change this?
Also is there going to be something done that will show which chat channel is active and which ones aren't. For example if someone types something in regional and you are looking at the around channel, the regional tab lights up.
For chat channels the following would be a very welcome thing:
Market/Trade
Storyline (for discussion of the storyline when it gets going)
Roleplaying Channels - These could be set up by race or just one in general. It would allow people who want to roleplay a place to do so without general chatter ruining the atmostphere
New Players/Help : New players can go here to ask experienced players questions.

That already happens, any chat tab that receives new text the title of that tab turns red.

Thanks for all your input guys. We do appreciate it!
Hopefully I did the quote right, anyway I was curious on this part, is this something new or is this replacing the magician staff, I know its been called many different things in beta, If it is replacing the mage staff would we get credits for the staff or would it just change it over?
Thanks in advance

Hmmm. Lets see. A trade channel (already covered I know), a grouping channel (for finding groups), a help channel, a crafting channel (for tips / questions), and harvesting channel could be nice
I realize the following is probably something that has been asked / requested a hundred times already but I tried 3 times to write this
And just couldnt make it through with out adding it in
Any number of channels added in and lumped into user chat (that cant be turned off) is kind of useless.
Actually, thinking about it. Being able to create channels that could be joined with a /join command or /invite (which I have noticed is already a command in game) would be VERY nice.
This could really help on multiple group parties if not everyone is in the guild
And players could organize there own trade, help, group, and any other channel they wanted then just /join when they logged in.

Healing too much? When you use any self heal (stamina, health, sap, focus) you lose ability to use ALL other heal types for like 2 mins. That already makes buying the others pretty pointless.
Why don't these have individual timers?
In tough battles, I constantly have to run away because even though I bought the heal self skills, I can only use one (usually health to avoid death debt), which means that if I run low on stamina/sap when I run low on health, I have to heal and run when I should be able to simply use the other heals that I've spent pts. buying.

its not that bad - I usually combine health aura with stamina self-heal or the other way round

The idea of just adding more channels is all well and good but it doesn't really fix anything it just adds more tabs to something that is cramped enough as it is. The whole chat system needs to be more user controlled. Anyone should be able to make their own chat "rooms" or channels or whatever you want to call it so anyone from any race/region/guild could make and invite anyone to a private channel as long as they are on the same server. There could of course be set channels for a bazaar for selling items or anything like that and a looking for group channel but it should be a players choice if they want to join the channel or not it shouldn't just be another tab on the screen. Chat windows should be able to be set up to display any chat channel you want them to not just one at a time and you should be able to make more than one chat window like you do for tells but be able to have them display more than just tells.
As for possibly changing the races so one race may have an advantage over the other in a certain skill it may really turn off lots of the users when after a patch their characters now aren't as good as they would be had they chosen a different race just cause of a new patch and at some devs whim. If a list of changes to the races or advantages or whatever was being planned was given out so people could plan what race they actually want to play based on what skill they want to go into it may develop a more loyal user base.
Change is good as long as its something thats wanted. At least for now if its not broken dont fix it. Theres lots of things that simply dont work at all they should be fixed first. Nothing new should be added to the game until it is more polished and broken things in it are fixed. Why add something new and just create more things to fix.

I would also appreciate more details on this, because it is affecting how I spend my sp.... not only the crafting SP (melee craft vs armor craft) but also related skills (for example, I may want to specialize in shaft prospecting and extraction, which means 40 sp more). So, if you are considering a skill reset, I strongly suggest harvesting skill reset as well....
The other possibility is to leave Shaft (8) grip (2) focus (10), but it seems weird for magician gloves...

Will either one of these patches address the targeting problem? Apparently the Force Box doesn't work right.
My other concern is that even if it works right, it may not be enough to avoid frustration due to taking on something a player is not ready for as the level range for a color is pretty broad.

I'd like to make a comment to everybodies comments about the racial distinction. I for one, would play the race that I want to play and how I want to play it, no matter what. I'm not reading into this like everyone else, but I think even if one race was better at magic and another at melee, then so be it. As it should be. I really like the idea of having actual racial divergence, instead of copy-cat characters for each race - but I also think that picking a race because of its perks is kinda silly.
Nobody is going to force you to play a race, if the Fyros aren't as good with magic than another race but you want to play a Fryos magician, then do it.
As for the chat tabs, I think everyone already brought up the best points.
