your in belgium i am in north america (canada) like i said if your goal is to pitch ryzom to the world the site needs to be accessible and its not to half the world at least (unless you dont want canadians or americans contributing maybe that is the plan)
anyhow the responses and silliness pretty much shows that the maintality that people are trying to avoid. So my anyone but SOE statement is now revised to anyone but the ones pitching it on this forum because right now you make SOE look way more attractive
Site wont come up your sarcasm about clicking the link is unfounded the fact remains its timing out before i get there. NOw I dont need to prove that to you but I did the fact that you feel that everyone should know everything about pinging and tracerts shows what you think of people who can't. You want my support and the support of those who like to play games, but not built computers or run tracerts? or just the handful of techy types?
If your trying to market to a large section of the market i suggest you change the attitude and bit and try to realize that mistakes are being made and the ego being showed is amazing considering. With the attitude I see here your making a very powerful argument to those who are worried about the fate of ryzom.
seeing belgium is very close to france your ping is good now how about letting the rest of the world see the site as well?
YOu know if people have to bend over backwards to just get this point across I hate to see how the rest of the project is gonna run when north america can't login to the "new free ryzom shard" because of such issues.

I'm just replying to you on the same level as you (considering you kind of know what a server is, chances are high that you know or at least can find out how to ping), I don't think there's any problem with that. But OK, if you want me to assume that you don't know how to turn on your PC or however low you want to go, that's fine by me.

Read the first reply I made.

now they want to sue us lol
"Okay, I took a look. It's pretty bad - there is a lot of name-calling, people calling ryzom.org anything from a bunch of unrealistic dreamers, to swindlers and scammers. From my first impression I would definitely recommend Xavier to get a lawyer involved. There are libel and slander laws, and Neverax seems to violate them (esp their senior game master, . I am not a lawyer, hence my recommendation that you get one. Also, if there ARE any issues we - as the young ryzom.org community - should be aware of, then it may be a good idea to be upfront about them."

Worst, I'm not in belgium, i'm in paris.
So the explaination of the problem is that you are in America. You're right this should be solve.
But i would remind you that the ones who will be running the servers are not the one who are running the website's serveur now. I repeat that the network side will be assured by Lacambre, who his trustwotrhy for those problems
.
And personaly I don't want to offend anyone, i just want do defend the project here.So if I said somthing that offend you you have my appologies.
kiexa if you take a single post of a single person as the willing of the community....

He's trustworthy? Based on the fact that he is involved in a DNS registrar or based on his altern.org site?
