It's not just for auras. In my experience, basicly, if someone casts a spell on me that is going to kill me, I am already considered as dead from the second they start casting. Everything I do in the time period between the beginning of the incantation and the moment the spell hits me is simply negated. With that often being several seconds, it can be really frustrating.iphdrunk wrote:+ Evil Kami casts spell

The problem seems to be simply that the effect an elemental spell is going to have is already determined when it's casted, but not actually played out until the spell hits. With casting time and travelling time, there's several seconds between the two.
The simple solution would be to just make spells instant. Get rid of the glowing ball that has to travel between caster and target, and just make the target burst into flame at the exact time the fire spell is cast, no matter the distance. Incidentally, this would also make afflictionists very happy as they wouldn't have to wait to see if their spell is going to link anymore (seem unfair they're forced to waste several seconds every cast while elementalists can just nuke away).
Unless I'm severaly mistaken, projectiles from ranged weapons are currently instant, reaching their target immediatly after being fired. Does it seem weird to anyone else that magic is limited to the speed of a car in moving through physical space, while physical objects teleport to their destination?

That my Camera angle changes when I teleport. Why is it set back to level? I like it tipped down just a bit.

small spelling mistakes.
Such as the new catalysers. The roll over has them as "Elevation cristal", but it should be "crystal". Well, that's unless we all increase our xp by drinking champagne.

How about fixing fear so that affected beings do not all run in the same exact direction.
P.S. I would also love to see an affected playing character have their toon run away out of their control until the effect has ended. (Is this that impossible to do?)

Also, not sure how hard it would be, but how about making taunt work on players? I'm thinking if I use taunt on another player, that should make me their target and leave them unable to change target for a few seconds. This way we could actually have a tanking role in PvP fights. Right now, for example, it's kind of pointless as a melee to guard the healers, as enemy melee can just ignore you.marct wrote:P.S. Edit: And it just occured to me, this would also be usefull when our healer is forgetting about me again

I would like to be able to open the craft dialog without having to equip a tool. Not a major change, just conveninece. Be it to check mat proportions, learnt craft plans, etc. Of course you cannot perform a craft action without the tool.
