NO raynes, the worse thing EnB devs did was wait weeks before patching. Their game was bugged and they kept pushing their patches back. Then when it finally went through it was full of useless crap and still no bug fixes. I hate to see this game turn out the same way because of devs concentrating on game balance rather than fixing the things that don't work first.
Yes there are still alot of things that don't work right.
Milkwana, what you said about people fighting the proper levels and decay will slow is wrong. This is mostly due to the fact that there are still bugs within the decay system that causes items to decay faster than they should. Some of this has nothing to do with what level mob you are fighting.

Actually no, the wosrt thing the EnB devs did was listen to the players and start to do story stuff because upon their wishes, not stick to the material they were given. So much stuff never happened becuase they spent so much time working on things like the Ten-gu, the Boregil, and The Bunny-ip.korin77 wrote:NO raynes, the worse thing EnB devs did was wait weeks before patching. No its not a circle - because now degrade is based on damage and mob damage was jsut doubled.mikwana wrote:And what some of you still don't understand is that equipment is wearing out too fast because people are currently able to fight things far above their level which causes massive wear on equipment.
Once the patch hits and people are fighting things they should be fighting, then wear will be less, and less mats will be needed to replace items.
Neat circle there, eh?
Besides any group of 9 level 100s should have no problem dealing with a single 200. If you do your clueless.

Our fighters are fighting with level appropriate weapons against level appropriate mobs. Why else group but to fight slightly tougher monsters which you cannot solo effectively?
Let's see now, our 150 fighters should be fighting, wait lemme guess, 150 mobs. Where do they find mobs of this level? In KoD of course. Does their gear still wear out way to quickly to be appropriate? Hell yes.
Those who don't experience it should not relay conjecture as fact. Especially when it is not happening to them because they are either not at the level where it becomes apparent or are not out there levelling in a group outside of Majestic Gardens.
I know, let's all huddle in Majestic Gardens and kill yubos all day. Gimme a break.

Actually, the degrading isn't that simple, and after this dregrading will lessen by a lot.billg1 wrote:No its not a circle - because now degrade is based on damage and mob damage was jsut doubled.
Eh? How does that work? a level 100 should be able to even HIT a level 200. Since they are similar, lets equate this to EQ. can a bunch of level 25's go kill Nagafen, who is, after all, only level 50 (or so, it's been a while)? Nope. No matter how many level 25's you have, there is no way that you'd be able to kill that dragon, or any other level 50 mob for that matter. You'll be crushed in seconds (or less).billg1 wrote:Besides any group of 9 level 100s should have no problem dealing with a single 200. If you do your clueless.

You know what..im curious at what the GMS and CS's and DEVs think about this subject...so far it has all been on what the guild leaders or the players think...what about you guys?
Re: Impressions of Chapter 1 from ATS: of special interest to those who forage.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the gingos' revamped accuracy then. Say bye bye to dodge especially if you don't have armor of dodging on.mikwana wrote:Actually, the degrading isn't that simple, and after this dregrading will lessen by a lot.

Hate to burst your bubble there but during the old days of EQ alot of us who were level 25-40 did go and beat up nagafen. It is possible with enough people.mikwana wrote:Actually, the degrading isn't that simple, and after this dregrading will lessen by a lot.

25-40 is FAR different from 25 only. in comparison, a raid size (40+) of 100-180 taking out a 200 level mob? Sure, see, now *that* is reasonable. Glad we agree.korin77 wrote:Hate to burst your bubble there but during the old days of EQ alot of us who were level 25-40 did go and beat up nagafen. It is possible with enough people.

lol, in one post Raynes cries that Ryzom is all about the story line and in this one he says that's what destroyed EnB.
