If I was to say... agree with Jack... (Not saying I am!!! no, no...) would I get fruit pelted at me? (More than usual)
Depends on whether a coconut qualifies as a fruit in this context.

tho I could think of worse things, VCA were near the top of that list for me
Well, i already said in the past that i would prefer an experienced company for Ryzom, but for how I feel now, i can accept anyone that turn on the power on the servers...... joking, but seriously, if VCA would have been the only choice, better than having Ryzom definitely gone.

Which, to all we know, might be up to two more than "the british folks" have, who don't even appear to have a website

One very negative Matis I know (no names, of course ... no server names, either ... *coughs*) thinks that these Spiderweb people could have bought Ryzom for the game engine as opposed to actually
wanting to give us our planet back, in which case they're soon gonna' find out the meaning of pain when all us Homins go PvP on their as--err, backsides.
However, said Matis also thought it was the American (Canadian?) Spiderwebs people who bought it, and the games on their website were pretty damn disappointing. So here's to hoping the servers will be back up soon!!
On that note ... 350K!?? Holyshat! O.O Why don't we all pool money? God knows I'm more than happy to do whatever it takes to save Ryzom. I watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_naflL_xzVo
... every day when I get home from school and haven't stopped camping the servers. It makes my heart cry.

At least they seem to have money...
Iirc some company called Spiderweb threw 500 000 at Nevrax for some reason somewhere in 2004, right?
