Pegasus Foundation has started a new chapter in LotRO, Landroval server. The kinship name is.... wait for it... Pegasus Foundation.
We will gladly welcome Atysian refugees of any variety.
Note that I said "new chapter", not that we have moved. We will be here on Atys unless and until the dragon awakes and drives us forth.

Well...hubby has been playing WoW for a few months now. I just can't get hooked. I was away from gaming while out of country and I think that my addiction is broken. I've popped in and out of SoR since I've been back, but it's just not the same without the whole bustling community. Making the move to WoW (which I not so lovingly refer to as "The Fisher Price MMORPG") isn't going well. I have a Blood Elf on Eitrigg, but I'm not expecting a lot of mileage out of her.
Hugz to everyone with a special long one for Braveganzar. You're the sister that I never had IRL and I'll miss you terribly. I hope you land somewhere where they appreciate you and don't try to drive stakes through that big kind heart of yours.

I whish posting to this thread would stop.
Its an invitation to all players to simply give up on Ryzom.
Its depressing enough for me that I cannot find anything that would statisfy me enough like Ryzom.

But... but you just ..... oh well
In all fairness its a shame that you haven't found a game to suit you, but others that have moved on, would still like to know :
1. Where other players have gone, to see if there is a game that is attractive to other Ryzom players.
2. To get back in contact with old friends.
I was in LOTRO a week or so ago and I got a /tell "are you Valda from Ryzom?"
It was a friend of mine from Waaaaayyy back in the day, when we used to stand on a hill in Dyron with a full team trying to kill an Ocyx.
Now we go questing most every night having great fun reminscing about our time in Ryzom.
Wouldn't have happened without this thread

Any one found something half as good as ryzom yet that is not in beta and i can download right now? Spent today having a browse i am playing 12th sky which is alright mainly cos the pvp is very well designed, level 112 Jinong with Kodel from here. If you do want to get playing Kodel and myself run the best guild on the devotion server, go for Jinong as race. If you like pvping you'll enjoy it here, sadly i don't have to same drive like i did in ryzom. Nearly every other game is so simple, nothing to really think and wonder about, even after playing ryzom for years i was still just wondering around the maps aimlessly. Oh well, all good things must end.
Anyways, let me know if you find something good

lol, not gonna happen. I've been playing dungeon seige 2 and watching Stargate. No good MMOs about really other than shooters, and I'm not an FPS person.

EQ2 is pretty barren in lower levels, its been out quite awhile.
LOTRO has very vibrant new player areas, I have alts of all levels and lots of action in each area.
Its a much more immersive game than EQ, due mainly to the quality source material.
BEWARE, if you download LOTRO, make sure you have the correct client for your area, EU and US are totally different sets of servers and you cannot transfer your characters between them.
Few Ryzom players on Snowbourn, which is a normal server and Laurellin, which is an RP server, these are EU servers.
