That wasnt the phrase I used and you know it.

But there are no non-pvp PR zones under level 200 for the newbie PR digger. And I have yet to see say... the non-PVP cuttlekin version. Or Gnookin. Or Armkoo... Are those sufficiently unrelated to avoid the BS accusation Spriteh?

The overall result is: if you wanna see every mob, find a significant proportion of the best spots for digging, if you wanna learn and use every craft plan, you gotta pvp...

And thats no BS.

Funny thing is that the non-PvP'ers even got into the mix (no, not by PvP'ing but by other methods) that made those Snode Amber battles probably the best player driven sagas in game to date. Spontaneous fun without the "meet here at this time" Forum stuff. Sifting through buddy lists trying to get more people to help you out (ya see back then buddy lists were full of active online players).

I was involved in many wins, and many loses. Both equally fun. The best battle being one that lasted 2+ hrs. Ani probably remembers that one.

If PvP is so much fun..

WHY do people always want to be PAID for doing it ?

all the BS about the challenge of a living opponent, true test of tactics, etc etc etc, you would think it was the most fun you could have with your pants on, yet some people still say its not worth it if they dont get rewards.

for the people who DO fight for the joy of it, good on you, and I join with you (or against you ;) ) on occasions.

Best team-based PvP fight ever since I play Ryzom (I'm staying out off the convo, though :) ). Personally, I'd take that over an OP fight anytime. Clean, fun, challenging...combining skills rather than spamming nuke, using fear on healers with strategy, discussing on approaches.... hearing liaryn call me fearnissa :D

My greetings to the players that were there. It was great.

That said, both sides have valid points... for one, iwo. Honestly, at the end I could not care less about the Zun. And I think finally no one dug them? -- can't remeber that for sure, but I surely didn't ... --

while I admit there is nowhere below 150 for starting out PR diggers (abyss for you 150+'s) I think the current misperception that if you want to dig you have to PvP is a little silly.

As someone who PvP's therefore as someone who has made plentiful enemies I only got killed once in the whole time it took me to dig from 51-200. Elusive forest was empty of people at the ebst of times and the only person I've ever known to go killing random people was a kami. It just doesnt happen at all, sure it might at the supernodes but if your grinding PR you generally dont dig supernodes.

Also when you dig supernodes most people are there to dig, I've dug alongside both karavan and kami without incident, infact usually the vorax are enough to convince most people to help each other rather than hinder.
I notice most of them who are complaining dont seem to have experienced PR digging at all.

*all this becomes null and void if infinity come back ;)

Ah, narrowing the field mid argument to a special situation that excludes the major gain? Niiiice.
