Xavier.
So what to the players get who don't like PvP?
And what rewards are there for those who decide to be neutral in the kami vs kara conflict? (other then the warm fuzzy feeling of being deprived of any dev lubbin and forced to live a life on the side line of the ongoing story of Atys?
And what do the people get who are both neutral in the conflict and don't like PvP?
We get to watch how the PvPers take all the ubah lewt while we roleplay our noble ideals?

I'd love to endure the pain of agreeing with DT on this but sadly he's is dead wrong just like lots and lots of digger who hopefully entered the old lands to dig and got nuked instead, over and over and over again....
From what you've seen.....exactly my point.

it seems that i won't be able to help building a temple
so i'll do other stuff.
Well, i had almost the smae experience you had. The diference is that I don't logged....I just quit the haversting quest, get my heal mage gear an returned to heal the guys fighting. Okay, I am not a high level healer, but my heals can make a diference when fighting the kitins or the oposing faction. I had fun when I finally quit try dig there....
However, it is possible to dig there, basically it need better strategy. By the end of the night we had combatants that were cleaning the kitins and mantaining the oposing faction far away while our foragers was digging. We were giving to our foragers some precious time for dig mats to build the temple and we mantained the 'defense wall' longer the possible to make sure our diggers were geting enough mats. Eventually the other side ever get enough players to break our defensive ranks and start to kill our foragers (and our combatants), but we respawned and restarted the process all again. Our combatants re-grouped at the camp and we started to clean the land to create a safe ground for our foragers dig. Everytime our forces sucumbed we repeated the process.
I am sure that at the first hours there were frustating, but mostly because we had no organization and we had no strategy. When we make sure who is digging and who is fighting we can create some safe ground for our foragers work. I just hope that the strategy will get better planned at the next days.

You don't have a point just a few empty words so tell me what I've missed where (besides the crafting mission) is the content that doesn't involve PvP...

If really PvP isn't your cup of tea, leave it alone. We're working to make it enjoyable by the maximum number of people, as the war is a necessary part of the story, but it would be delusional to think we will succeed to make something everybody would enjoy.
The same thing could be said of every major feature that can be added to the game.

If you are talking about 'neutrality' on a character and roleplay basis, they will be able to get the same rewards as the other players.

So basically honor points are just useless digits on your character sheet? Or can neutrals do the missions of both factions?

I don't think there is such a thing as a neutral. My wife's toon has done NO missions and her fame with Kami/Karavan is zero each. She's a Tryker. She walked into the Tryker temple area and they shot her dead. She respawned at the Kami TP. Karavan spawns were not available.
So, maybe you can do the missions if you can survive long enough when you walk into the FvF area.
