Hiyas! *BG* yes, it was a great meeting and a wonderful way to start off a week of running around southern England looking for tro... err ... fun. Oshi even rented a car for a few days (yes! there was a yank driving around england with me as navigator!), running out to Stonehenge (I got to touch them! SO pretty!!) and then to Warwick and Dover without collecting any DP. Oshi did prove he had a very strong heart what with me gasping at everything coming right at me while riding in the car. I had even had to shut my eyes and hide behind the map a few times but he proved he knew his way around driving on the "other" side of the road.


We just got back yesterday, seems going was much easier than getting back, only to have an electrical problem cut short my time online last night. Today I learned about stab vs twist electrical connections. Yay! And after paying almost $200 for somebody to tighten a few things, thinking I'm in the wrong business.

I'll post our full story, There and Back Again (wait... that's been taken already, right?), which hopefully will be soon. And our pictures as well. (the look on my face in that one picture ... ??? ... don't know where that came from.)

But before I end this, I must say how sweet everybody was to come and say hi while I sat there like a lump. Rak was holding me up as I was pretty wiped out by the jet lag (lag!! lag monster got me) and no sleep for over 24 hours and very little in the way of food and drink for almost as long. We have great people both in the game and in real life.
