Aha, our guild excels at something at last! We've done that and a bunch left last week. More members are succoming to boredom and the strange afk-disease by the week.

But seeing as this is a feedback thread, its nice to see a new forum member contributing. Your frustration is shared by many but I for one plan to hold out until after E3 because I think Nevrax needs the time and my money for that long at least.

Yes, they do.
I feel like in beta. A payed beta tou. They need paying customers to buy time, in purpose of fixing the errors they've done.

Well, I did not logged in for more than 5 days now. I'm thinking to find another game too.
Why? The process of bug correction takes too long, the ones I've reported are still to be ©"fixed soon", the outposts are still a far dream, there is _stil_ no place for real roleplay.
My guild is counting now about 45 members, I'll do my best to convince them to leave too. Will be nice to see the same familiar names in a brand new world.

I'm deeply desapointed, I feel sorry that took me so much time to realise that I picked the wrong place to call it home.

edit
PS: I'm waiting to see what good will bring the next patch.
PPS: I'd like to thank to all who told me in the forums to "cancel sub and move on". Your words were a great help in taking this decision.

The Help window leaves a horrible first impression on the new player, Because:

While a lot of it is good, certain sections contain terrible English to the point of it being rediculous, and I don't believe I'm exagerating. I'm not talking a little spelling mistake or typo here or there, I'm talking reallll-ly bad/drunken/careless English.

Also tutorials stop halfway through sometimes!

Broken links!

The "previous" button doesn't work properly a lot of the time!

Please, I beg you, get someone, -anyone-, who has the best grasp of English in your company to go through every screen and tutorial of the help menu and make corrections--it's badly needed, and really would only take a half hour of someone's time to spot all the glaring mistakes.

Please, so much of Ryzom has been translated to English well and admirably, that when it degenerates into completely careless unprofessional gibberish, you're going to -really- turn off a lot of pseudo-sophisticated English speaking players, who aren't going to be motivated to pay lots of money to go against the grain and play that "foreign" game that doesn't even bother to translate itself properly during the opening tutorial, in a quality-oriented fashion.

Please bring the Help menu up to the high standards of translation of most of the rest of the game.

I think it's important! It's one of the first things the new player deals with after all, and one of the few things that they'll have to judge the quality of the rest of the game by, when deciding whether to play or quit!

P.S. The production notes for patches can also be quite bad, sometimes, translation-wise, especially for major patches--you can't tell what the new rules are, sometimes!

Not sure if its possible, or something thats worth doing.

Purchasable (Real money) character titles. Not existing one, I mean userdefined ones.

Eg,
'Husband of Seren'
'Son of Nineteen'

I would expect that the titles would be vetted so they are in keeping with the game.

I would like to be able to drop somthing, and have it on the ground for others to pick up. Maybe it disappears after a bit, kinda buried in the sand, or overgrown by grass.

Would be kinda neat.

Hi all,

The game is the one of most great Massive Role Player I've seen.

But I want to change a little things, (if is possible :) ) :

1.- Why A burning sword don't makes a fire damage? (Same for the others weapons.

2.- Why not exist a wavering Pike?

3.- That's not fair the mob magic attacks, they hit much dmg.
-> I hate Zerx Acid Attack, or Kincher Electric Attack :(

4.- In PR I don't know the correct weather, and EVER bad Weather.

5.- Really works hit on head = Stunt?, I never stunt a mob with this stanza.

6.- Why we must wait long time to self heal stantza?, I understand this in fight, but when we are not fighting, the stanza must be aviable more quickly.

8.- I really want to craft or obtain special objets: Potions, meat...

9.- I want more kind of mobs, new territories , new razes.

10.- Is possible to put my Guild icon on my Armor?

Thnx for your work.

Poul

The unique Spanish guy in the game
Illuminati officer.

P.D: Sorry for my English :)

I agree with Golden, Helpcenter should be flawlessly working.
Also it would be nice with GMs popping into the islands every day to interact with new players.

I have a char on Matis noobisland helping out new players now and then, this is greatly appreciated from all I have met sofar - so if you care about our new players pls - have a char helping them out a bit, they will surely be more interested in the game if they get some help from the start.

I think there should be some herbivores that feared homins and ran from them. See the post in General for more info.

I've ticketed a suggestion in the past for something kinda similar.
Well, I wanted to say that if you nuke a mob who have 100 HP, with 90 damage, even is at 50m range, will try to reach you and kill you. Very brave... and very stupid.
Well, I really dont know any animals that would do that. Usually, even a bear - yes, I've hunted bears - if is not in what we call "blood rage" will try to run away if is near death.
(or those who don't know "blood rage" comes when a lot of inexperienced hunters are shooting an animal without doing any consistent damage. Animal gets angry and attacks all it sees, even the cars.)
Back to the subject. If you hit a mob with more than 90% from it's max health in one hit, the mob should run away.
