Actually, the tunnel is blocked by big rocks, so you cannot get past it. A swarm of Kitin and some Tunnel Hounds would be easy to overcome with some teams.

When Ryzom was launced, the oasis was accesable to players, but at some stage it was closed.

Like I said, it's been a very long time since I was last that way...I'll have to go have a peek.

At one point a few of us searched and searched for an alternate way to that Oasis. You definitely can’t get past the rocks. I marked off over 25 tunnels that we tried all with dead ends.


As for the KPs being changed, after talking to a CSR just now, I get the feeling they don’t even realize something changed. It could be unintended. The CSR said they are checking it now, they upon their first look they saw 3 patrols in 10mins and so this CSR is not really believing me that there’s any change. I can’t say I’m sure myself. Maybe these Kitin Patrols work in more mysterious ways than we realize :p

Until I hear more on this, I’m not canceling the Dig/Spank Expeditions.

So I guess this means that some debris removal is just too much effort for Ma-Duk and the Kami to allow their followers into their little “oasis”. Not to mention their inability to prevent it.

I am sure they are not keeping any “secrets” from any of us in there, like the Karavan are doing in the inaccessible planet core because if it were suspicious I am sure the folks who always question Jena would have pointed it out by now.

(I know I am rambling, I am in between projects at work right now and have too much free time at the office)

Another CSR spoke to me. This one agrees that the KPs look to be different. Says that no reports of change in KPs are coming from French or German servers, and that if it’s changed on our server, it’s unintentional and maybe related to the server problems they had about 25hrs ago. They are waiting to talk to the senior GM or whatever.

I asked why they don’t post about it just saying it’s not intentional and they are looking into it. Answer is that they are not allowed to post here.

Yup, Ma-Duk is a lazy god... Then again, looking at all the technical debris lying around in the PR, Jena is quite careless as well...

But the homins with all their picks seems they can't pick their way into the oasis either...

Wow, the Oasis... that brings back some memories from beta :) I remember there wasn't much in there, except for lovely scenery, and a small machine-like object that made a constant humming noise :) I went there several times solo when nobody else was about, and it was an enjoyable challenge getting there.
