I count that as pap. Just the same as corrective posts like yours and this one. But neither would happen without the original OP thread to bring the subject up.

Not dismissing the problems, just dismissing the point in blabbering on about it for thirteen pages every 3 days or so.

At the risk of stepping into this messy thread, I had a question. I have heard that higher level outposts dug less cats/day than lower level ones using the same drills. I heard that q50's dig 19 stacks/day
q100 - 17? stacks/day
q150 14.5 stacks/day
q200, q250 also 14.5 stacks/day
Although, recently I heard that q250 dig less than that. Sadly, I've never managed to make an accurate measurement. Does anyone know the precise numbers?

Which wouldn't happen if they were addressed rather than dismissed with 'I'm alright Jack'.

well, back when Infinity owned Void, we got 28 stacks of cats a day... 14 from each OP.

I know the levels of GoJ and its members and they have been greatly exagorated in some posts here, they are more than capable of GvG only OP war and I am suprised that they didnt do it alone I can only think that they are too scared of loosing their OP rather than having a good fight.
Personaly I would love to see OP wars turn GvG a s a whole and I really hope Cho plays out that way, ultimatly I see it ending up the same way as 2 alliances playing out with the larer guilds winning but overall probably more balanced.
Its a shame this invitation was not accepted it would of been intresting to see the outcome and would of set a new standard for OP wars. I only wish that I had checked the forums earlier today.

gvg is however an elitist game, unless part of a big guild.. you cannot even take part in battles let alone own one. the way op battle work at present , atleast all can play and experience a battle of large numbers vs other players.

it may also be that in every "tick" (2 or 3 sec i think, i'm probably wrong), drill gives one item. lower lvl ones has less choices which one it will be that q250 one (q50/q100/etc).
find out how long tick is for different q outposts (drills), you find out how many stacks* you get.
* stacks really should be op items as stacks is not accurate enough.

As a new player I have to say that this is what makes pvp in Ryzom interesting to me. It is not just about comparing numbers like so many other games. A battle can be won by other skills than combat. Knowing the right people, making connections and politics. You have lots of factors besides the powers of the individual characters affecting the outcome.
I see that some of the older players (my assumption) is meta-gaming, trying to change the rules of the game in their favour. I can just say that some us that have just started Ryzom doesnt want it to turn into world of warcraft where everything depends on pure numbers. Please let it be about more than just who has the most people, let it be about making alliances, freedom to pick a side and win a battle without having the most "high levels in tier 3 gear".

Funnily enough a lot of the people who now yell for GvG were the ones who were most vocal about demanding alliances
