Perhaps I need to reread some posts, but I don't recall seeing anyone saying that everyone else 'had' to do anything a particular way... I just see opinions being expressed. If I think the green shirt you're wearing happens to remind me of puke and I find it disgusting, telling you that your shirt resembles puke is not the same as telling you that you have to change it because I don't like it, is it? ;)

One more personal opinion from me on the 'game belongs to us' bit is just something I'm sure you've already heard expressed - it doesn't. The game belongs to Nevrax. We are paying for the opportunity to play with their toys, but I don't believe that gives us the authority to dictate their game design, just a bit of room to express our opinions. ;)

On that note, I think I should go back to just observing for now.

Yes. It's like renting a house - you pay to live in it, but that doesn't mean you can paint it or put nails in the walls etc.

If you went and told the landlord of the house that you're going to do whatever you damn well please, and that you have a god-given right to do so because you're paying them, guess what? You might become homeless. Fortunately, most MMORPGs including this one don't ban you for saying that. ;)

I do, however, support player-driven story direction. If we all decided not to show up at the next kitin invasion, we might just lose a city to the kitin. Hmm, that would be interesting...

No, it's not, but it is rather impolite to volunteer such comparisons and it's hard to imagine people doing that to someone they were speaking with directly. I mean, if I were to ask you what you thought of my shirt and you said "it reminds me of puke" instead of "I don't like that color much", how do you think I'd feel? What if I walked into your view wearing it and you said to me, "that shirt looks like puke".If we knew each other well enough, I might laugh... and even agree with you. However, unless we were extremely close friends or related somehow, you have to know I'd be very offended and would think you rude.

There are reasons we employ such things as etiquette, tact, good manners, and just plain common sense when dealing with other people "face to face".

Unfortunately, the same sort of tact or restraint is not so prevalent on the internet, and one obvious symptom of that is a thread like this, which started out so well and has ended well off the topic and in flameland.

Kali and all,

My apologies to anyone I offended, Kali, your are correct. The field here on the forums consist of the same people we see every day in game.

I do get excited some, and I have a temper :) No offense is meant to anyone. I can just say that I hope everyone tries to view both sides of the discusion before making judgement. I've just never liked being judged.

My apologies

Love for all, Kami and Karavan

I'f someone loves us, they will defend us.

Lets get to the point...it's not a matter of attack/defense.

Zo-Kian was owned by Infinity, due to stuff i'm not going to discuss here it was passed to a Karavan guild, down to the leader being there making sure any would be defenders get banned from battle. Lets just say it was due to greed by some players. (If any inf members would like to chime in...feel free)

We can play tag from there, but point is, we were aimed for takeover before any attacks planned...and now we have it...reguardless of how it happened or how much you want to punch your desk.

Kye...nobody dislikes you...damnit man...we fight, thats what we do...you kill me, I kill you, we kill each other...lets have some damn fun..i'm tired of listening to the 4 main stayers on this forum that only seem to want to cause trouble....I've said bye to one....3 more to go
J....kma and go away
It is just a matter of attack and defence.

It's probably not the best thing to publicise OP Battles on here. Word of mouth is good enough, if you let the right people know ingame.

You should play this game hard and fast, suck everything out of it, go for every goal you can, fight hard, compete for outposts and bosses. Don't take things that happen in game personally.

If your Karavan and are wearing your tag I will pummel you into the ground and trample all over your dead body. If you reside in Yrkanis I will burn your homes and raise your town to the ground. Bescause your my enemy.

If you feel people are being selfish, that your experience is being diminished some how, you should do something about. Raise your game. Get better and take what you want. Because that's your right.

It's frustrating, people seem very two faced..like they seem very nice in game, but are asses on the forums.

Kye's a sound guy, knowing him as I do, for you to say he is anything other then a nice guy, show's me what an ass you are.

Who is 19891989 please? I don't like how people will post their opinions, particularly opinions of other players without showing who they are, just something crude and two faced about that.

Theres your side of the story, and theres kyes. Kye is a hardcore gamer, what you might have thought was him grieving you , might have been something different. I know it's not like him to do something without good reason. He's held me back sometimes, when i got rage in gam. But that's your personal affair.

If you left and are still coming back to these forums bringing up stuff like this, then my opinion would be that kye isn't the one with the problem.

jam2005 wrote:One thing I'm curious about... if friendship really does overrule faction and race... why not do something that ought to make it easier to play with your friends? Sure you can't change race on an existing character, but changing faction is certainly doable... Lathaniel, Sekhmet, and Keiko seemed to have no problems managing to do it. ;)
Um, how and why have I been brought into this conversation? And to suggest that you have any idea of what problems we have encountered in changing faction is quite bold on your part. Furthermore, if you are suggesting that we made the change in order to play with friends you are mistaken...our friends have never cared what faction we followed or even IF we followed a faction. (Which we didn't prior to chosing Kami. We were neutral/agnostic prior to that with the ability to purchase tp tickets via the Karavan teleporter...never followers of Jena).

Since I don't know you and you don't know me, let's leave me out of your arguments please.
