I am unsure if this is the end intended functionality, and one would think that with the spires, this would not be so, but that you could not use the ticket at all.

I would prefer that I could not use the ticket rather than use it and not be able to buy a ticket to get back there.

Noin.

Thanks for the info Noin. It does seem then that the tickets don't become useless. After all Nevrax wouldn't put functionality onto the ATS that was intended to be different in game would they? ;)

I have another question as well.

Did I miss a news announcement? When are these due to go live? I'm sure it was supposed to be before now.....

riveit wrote:Not to detract from your overall point, but since the shalahs got stronger in a patch some months ago, this run in Enchanted Isle has become much much easier. I have jogged a dozen times recently without being attacked. So Karavaneer diggers should be fine in EI unless Kamists erect a spire there.

I've never made it without being attacked, but I've found that I can make it far enough that Speed will take me the rest of the way and the agro will give up before my hit points do. But again, if I knew that a Karavan TP in or near Loria's main digging/grind area was going to become available (even if it required me to finish some sort of mission), I'd be more likely to go that route and just skip EI unless I needed a specific mat.

I appreciate the information, but I was mostly just trying to illustrate the larger point that to quell some of this ill feeling a lot of people are having, we need more detailed info.

IC: Oh, and if Kamists erect a spire in the lakelands preventing the majority of it's inhabitants from moving around freely, I'll be too busy fighting them to worry about where I'm digging. It's not that I care what god someone worships, but when their god limits my freedom, I get cranky.

My preferences (and the illogic behind them):

For people who already owned tickets to TP's to which they can no longer buy new tickets, let them use them. I've already made my deal with the Kami to execute a transport. They can refuse to make any new deals with me, but should honor the deal already made.

(OTOH, the new ability to store tickets makes that a bit problematic; either way, I'd like to see Nevrax tell us the plan so people do or don't know whether to buy a bunch of tickets in advance. I'd hate to act on it the way that ATS works and then find out they changed their mind.)

For the spires, it should simply turn off those TP's. Make them dead for all use until such time as the spire is no longer owned by that faction. The Karavan would love to honor my previous deal with them (in form of the ticket I hold), but can't because they don't have enough power in that region. (My opinion only.)

Heheheh, that's the question no one seems to dare to ask -- specially since the new forums policy :p -- The chapter 3 was, after delays, god's rain, unexpected bugs, white and black and all hands testing, etc. announced to go live November 26 if I am not mistaken, and afaik no one has a date anymore... Maybe before, maybe after xmas....

A few players thought that they'd be soon after episode 2. Then we had the planned "invasion" and the Atys Rangers 'mission' who isn't live yet -- maybe we we'll get the invasion so we Nevrax can get more time to tweak the outposts -- (Also, unrelated but pertinent, Nevrax extended "Redressement Judiciaire" similar to Chapter 11 observation period ends up in December, iirc.)

So it's a bit "wait and see". I guess that we'll have things to do pretty soon

Each land has it's own makeup, there are additional Q200 zones in Matis and Fyros lands.

Verdant Heights - 7
Witherings - 6
Aeden Aqueous - 6
Burning Desert - 8
Nexus - 1
Wastelands - 3
Lands of Umbra - 4
Abyss of Ichor - 1
Undersprings - 1

Total = 37

The fleeting garden kara tp is right next to 2 level 200 regions - could be why ;)

so Nevrax _is_ punishing neutral players and driving them to kami/kara/quit (j/k ;-)

fleeting garder kami tp is working (tried with neutral/neutral matis char)
