Thank goodness! Now lets see what happens.

Will the return of Haddo cause the other jewelry crafters to give up their craft? Not a chance. Heck, Haddo was getting some pretty sweet margins after all. Haddo may not be happy now because he will have to work harder to keep his leverage on the rich players, thus still maintaining his nice markups.

Now, to back peddle a bit. It is entirely possible that Haddo buys all his mats at outrageous prices and is not actually turning a profit, but then why bother? I certainly didn't come to the game to spend all my time crafting just so others could go out and play, while I slaved away crafting. But, Haddo may in fact be doing just that.

Haddo, I don't say this to be disrespectful, but to illustrate a point.

What god like being decided what the approprite markup on goods was anyway? Where is the rule book for that? It all comes down to what people will pay and they payed my prices.

Wave your economic books at me if you want, but I live it and breathe it. If Haddo asks me not to resell his products, I will 100% respect his wishes. He never set rules for me before, so I simply had no instructions to follow.

By the way, the Tryker crafter is another master crafter named Gecker. Best amps I have ever owned were a gift from him one day in my earlier life in Atys.

I'm just going to ramble a bit here on the subject. Everyone can make up there own mind about what they think of people that resell other's goods.

I looked at the market for jewelry way back when I got to 110s and decided to try to sell at a "reasonable" price. Based on feedback I think I achieved that.

I tried selling in multiple lands, but it was hard to keep stock in 2 places, so i gave up and picked fyros.

I thought a lot about reselling issues and decided I wasn't going to get too upset about it.

I knew some reselling was going on which didn't bother me too much if it was in other lands since it gave people a chance to get jewelry that couldn't get to fyros.

And I figured saying I was going on vacation would let some people take advantage of my absence. But I also wanted people to have a chance to buy some for when I was gone so I decided to announce it.

So I figure resellers may make some people grateful since they can get some jewelry. But if they mark up too much, they will get others mad at them and lose reputation. I figure they can make their own choices and I'm not going to get all riled up about it.

Sooner or later some others will catch up to me. They can sell higher or lower, whatever they think is best. If they sell lower, that will be fine. I won't have to restock so much and can work on other stuff.

Speculators may also get squeezed from having old stock when higher Q stuff comes on the market. That will be good to see.

I guess some went to extremes while I was gone and I'm sorry to see that. But it shouldn't happen again for a while.

I want to thank all that have said nice things about me here. It's great knowing I have lots of friends around that appreciate my effort.

P.S. I haven't read much of the threads here yet - i'll get to it some time. I just wanted to get something up here now that I'm back.

One last reply from me here. I just finally got through all the threads. Wow - this was a busy place while I was gone. Mostly I'm just laughing but not over everything.

I'm not going to give anyone specific permission to resell my jewelry in other markets. Since my main motivation is supporting the community, having jewelry in other lands is a good thing. If we had more slots to work with, maybe I would try to do it myself. I'm also not going to worry about it if someone else resells in other lands. I would appreciate it if they didn't buy me out completely. I restock pretty often most days and except when I change Q (or take a vacation) stock is available in Fyros most of the time.

Resellers just have to take the risks of having me jump Qs or getting a bad rep if they mark up too much. Demand is so high that I spend too much time crafting anyway and if my demand drops, it won't bother me at all. And if they want to spend their time buying and selling stuff instead of improving their skills, that's ok too. So I encourage all you crafters to catch up. But I did spend a huge amount of time to get ahead of the rest of the market, and I'm reaping the rewards for that.

I know I could raise prices and make it tougher on the resellers, but that goes against my goal to support the community. And I know some can't afford my jewelry at lower levels, but I don't care at all. There's no level limit on jewelry, but I don't see why under 100s should feel the need to have q200 jewelry. Most lower levels should be able to get something decent for their level from guilds/friends/merchants.

So I think things are calmed down now, anyway I hope so. My guild (Pegasus Foundation) and me personally believe in harmony with all in Atys and our main strife is with the Kitin and making Atys a safe place for Homins.
