The 'because I can' reason is fast becoming the default mindset. I don't realy have a problem with that, I'll have fun with my friends ingame and ignore everybody who is in favor of the 'because I can' theory.
The PVP adition to ryzom sure made things stink....
edit: just thought of something, pvp is poor mans content, where is my bloody saga ?

There is a new theory
one of the open issues in MMRPGs is the eternal debate about hardcore versus casual players, and the direct link between level, wealth, power and time spent in game.
In order to even things a bit, you can delay game additions and leave plenty of time.. let's say 2 years...with little choice other than leveling for the sake of leveling until you hit cap in even completely unattractive side skills, so the playerbase has equal chances.

PvP tag=kill me or i will kill you
no PvP tag=i don't want to fight homins

it is not ganking if you are tagged and get killed..no matter if you are afk, crafting, or prancing around in a field of flowers

Well I guess hoping this thread would actually live up to its early potential or that people would actually try and stick to the rules or actually not abuse anyone else after a few pages was hoping for too much.
