umm, i think ur taking this a bit far!

today i fell asleep in pr for about 3 hours, yesterday about 1.5/ other times i will go and cook or whatever.. you cant expect that just because u see an avatar the player is there behind it.

so report me all you like for being afk without the /afk flag but there is no rule stating you must reply and be active and respond to everyone that tries to talk to you..

If someone is digging and not replying, there is more likely to be something fishy - but if not (I oftern fall asleep in pr too) then you won't be digging etc, and people would then assume your afk for whatever reason. I know I do when someone doesn't move for a few minutes.

Not the same if your AFK and standing there as if your harvesting and dont respond.

Hard to exploit doing nothing, folks do that all the time... they call it RP :P

I would take the vodka & silverweed into account but I think you wouldn't be doing much digging if you were asleep.

it's a great combination :D adding digging to the equation just results in lots of dp generally, although that doesnt stop me trying now and again.. it's seems (again) i took what u were saying a bit too literally.. don't respond when digging possibly i'd agree ;) but you can generally tell if someone is there or botting by observing for a bit so i'd tend to try and be sure before i invoked a ticket.

Ok Vutescu, I've got to ask. Fallout 2 was my fav single player game, what purpose is there in botting in it? What did you bot & what did you achieve? I'm intrigued.

Activate the pm for questions like this one.

OK. (Is my fav too, btw. I've spend more than 1 yr playing it. As a matter or fact Jagged Alliance 2 and Fallout 2 are the best games I've ever played IMHO

After you reach San Francisco and get a bozar, tons of ammo and a decen advanced power armor (I know, 1 bozar is in Toxic Caves, other are at mechand guards near NCR) you can start hunting floaters near rivers (where the map have a corner). 5k xp / fight. But is repetitive. At 12 AP's + fast shoot => 2 bursts + 1 reload with bozar. That means 5 rounds of fight and 150 ammo (.223). See the pattern?
Fight, get 150 ammo from car trunk, leave the location, travel N, S, E, W, find a new swarm of floaters... etc. I dont think you can call it boting after all. I was still on the comp to guide the car, to avoid fire gekos and Morton Brothers. Was just "shoot shoot reload space"
It can be done for Enclave soldiers too, but is more complicated and they usually have time to fight back.
Anyway is an easy way to see how many perks you can aquire at level 99 and what they do. Too bad I found about fallout hintbook long time after I lost the interes about the game.

In BoS it can be done via pick door bug. 2 click 2 click... xp is somewhere between 15 and 90. Not much, but a raider or a beastmaster is 15-20 xp anyway. Better pick doors. More efficient.
