[ Linux ] - Installation Ryzom sous Ubuntu

fandjo : mauvaise idée de lancer Ryzom en root, ce n'est pas du tout nécessaire et ne peut que poser des soucis.

Comme je devais l'avoir dit sur un autre topic, chez moi ça vient de la résolution entrée, au lancement de ryzom (lorsque l'on entre son mot de passe) la mauvaise est inscrite et je doit la changer à chaque lancement afin de ne pas planter. Nota : le chargement reste relativement long sur la partie ou ça plantais, mais ça reprend, sauf si on a oublié de remettre la bonne résolution.

J'ai pas touché à la config de wine, et je peux pas le lancer sans être en root. Il faudra que je regarde ça de plus près, mais je pense qu'un wine en config de base nécessite d'être en root pour être lancé.

En principe, je ne suis pas root et ça fonctione quand-même, mais bon, ça peut varier d'une bécane à une autre

Bizarre, je viens de le lancer sous ma session et ce coup là, ca marche.

Les fois précédentes, j'avais un message (mal traduit par moi-même) "wine ne vous appartient pas, vous ne pouvez pas le lancer" en gros.

Et bah c'est l'heure de mon premier patch sous linux, et de mon second au secours

Si quelqu'un à un bon truc pour me dépanner sur le patch, j'ai pas envie de faire une boulette

Bon, j'ai un message d'erreur, je veux juste savoir s'il faut juste copier dans le rep de ryry les 2 fichiers qui sont pas "à jour" comme me dit le message. (un xml et une base).

Bon j'ai virer wine, j'ai purge, j'ai reinstaller wine, et...

j'ai suivi le tuto de mathieur à la lettre, j'ai copié les 2 .dll, puis la j'ai un petit soucis, lorsque je veux lancer la configuration de ryzom,

ne marcheras jamais si l'on ne se place pas dans le repertoire , par exemple dans mon cas c'est

client_ryzom_rd.exe

toujours placé dans le dossier de ryzom, puis la il se lance comme par magie, je vais donc entrer mes identifiants et choisir mon personnage.
C'est là que ça plante, lors du chargement du jeux, il se charge 4 ou 5 barre puis le jeux se plante violement et je suis obligé de killer l'application à la main...

Bref, j'espère que quelqu'un à une solution à me donner, ça serais vraiment simpa

edit : j'ai télécharger d'autres dll, les miennes devait pas être assez recentes, du coup je peut lancer la configuration de ryzom, mais (ça serais trop beau sinon) je plante dés le debut dés que je lance le client... enfin plus exactement lorsque je tape mon mot de passe et que je clic sur "conection"

Bon finalement j'ai trouvé d'ou venait le problème, en faite j'avait touché mon client.cfg et j'avais fait des betises
donc je relance ryzom, la je peut me logger, puis retour à la case depart, voilà qu'il freeze au chargement...

As tu lancé winecfg et précisé d'utiliser les versions natives des bibliothèques : msvcrt, mfc42 et msvcp60 ?

Il me semble que si tu les copies dans le répertoire uniquement, il va quand-même utiliser celles de Wine.

oui oui j'ai pris les dîtes dll et je l'ai ai copié dans le systeme32 de wine et je les ai taper dans winecfg...
c'est vraiment horrible l'install de ce jeux sous linux <_<
tu pense que ça à un rapport avec celle ci ? car autant limiter les recherches de problèmes alors

Par contre j'ai l'impression que le client ne parvient pas à lancer des fichiers du jeux et c'est à mon avis ça qui fait planter ...

Et puis la coup de la texture coupée, ça doit venir de la carte graphique je pense et plus spécialement sa mémoire.
