I agree it could be an advantage Yaffle, but anybody who knows Atys knows we have mats as high and higher in safe areas around tp's. Why trek through the Regus and Gingo's to get just ex beng?

It makes no sence having it there, its a lvl 50 land and therefore lvl 50 agro...
Excellent materials give better dig exp than choice or below, no other place on atys has excel all the time on a spot...
Its just one of many advantages the forest diggers have, i dont really care but its just not a fair system and should be changed

Edit-
I say this but i know full well it wont get changed and the dev's have far more important things to do like rush through great new things so they can be badly implemented.

Yes Yaffle, I totally agree it shouldn't be there permanantly. The rite it goes with is only for a certain time of day. But, the source is there to be taken advantage of by any race at any time. Those forest diggers may just as easily be Zorai as Matis. Especially now new players can go to any land they wish.

Edit;
This statement could also hold true for Nexus. If Nexus and the Ex Beng amber spot are such an advantage, why after lvl 50 don't all races foragers choose Forest forage? If it wasn't for Nexus I would have started my PR digging 50 lvls earlier. What you gain on the swings you lose on the roundabout as they say.

The rite is at sunset if i remeber correctly, having it only pop then would make sence, and yes its not that great an advantage to the matis, more another advantage to forest diggers even if they are mainly matis. But as i said i wouldnt hold my breath that anything is going to change.

No, things change too slowly sometimes. How many years has it been like this now and everybody knows about it. :(

Edit;
I hope they do change the pop to a certain time of day but the quality should still be more than q 50. The rite does actually say it is one of Atys' hidden resources so should be special in some way. If it is one of the hidden resources, why not put similar anomilies in other areas. Just an idea.

jared96, there are advantages and disadvantages to all lands, i wonder what will you be asking for next? Add more agros to the jungle? Make the agros follow players in the water? As a whole the lands are more or less balanced, you only concentrate on the forage branch but take into consideration the other skill branches, look at the whole picture and you will see there is no land better than others.

kyesmith wrote:not really but theres only so much amber to dig and i was digging Q210 at lvl 190 to improve the exp, cant dig that high on the amber spot. My point is theres an unlimited excel amber spot in a totally safe place, its a clear advantage and no reason for it being there...
So one small spot with excel beng amber of q200 is a "clear advantage"? I fail to see why and how but i agree with the "no reason to be there".
There are "clear advantages" in each land, can you deny that? Most of them much more significant than that amber spot. I dont care if they remove the spot and i doubt theres one matis player out there who would care about it, cant figure out whats the big deal about it, sorry.

Was just pointing it out, you can get higher than normal exp in a 100% safe spot, digging excel materials and then at lvl 140 you can dig supremes in nexus unlike any other race. Personally i dont care, but its hardly a fair system.

Just popping in to repeat what I said waaaay back on my first post in this thread on page one, wich nobody seems to read anymore. *LOL*

Some while ago I´ve talked to a GM and he said in effect:
"Yes, this spot was intended to be there only for the rite, but is buggy.
Yet other things are atm more important then to fix this.
Someday (tm) it will be fixed."

So we can only wait for it to be fixed. And as someone pointed out allready, it was there from the beginning, but it was also intended to be for the rite from the beginning, as far as I understood. ;)

Ok now, flame on :D
*wooooosh* ;)
