A little thing I'd like to see :
My mektoubs are smart enough (or stupid, depends how you look at it) to follow me anywhere and everywhere except indoors. Can't I tell them to follow someone else? Like one another? I'd like them to form an orderly line when travelling together, instead of all jostling for position to be first behind me. Something like "Follow my current target" would let me tell them what order to take up, and would be invaluable in getting other people to help out. Seems like a little thing

I mentioned my
wish for this game on Off Topic section.
Hopefully some in GameForge/Nevrax will see about getting some of our wishes granted.

Outgame communication with people ig
Allow /tells or guild chat (maybe even faction chat) from a client outgame(possibly mod klients some more?) for people who are bored at work or just need to sort something out but can't be ingame. Obviously more localised chats would be impossible (/say, /re) but it would be cool to be able to have some kind of communication
I doubt anyone would see this has "high priority" but I think it would be pretty handy and cool

Sounds cool spriteh
. I'd use it sometimes just to keep up with what's happening if i'm on a restricted bandwidth connection or something.
I have one wish to put on, that I didn't see anywherre else:
Phelan, if you're listening, Nevrax did a very poor job of one thing, and from a marketing perspective it is death.
We need way better download facilities, even where there's per connection bandwidth restrictions, I get at LEAST 2x faster downloads from anywhere but the horrid connection that we have our free trial download hosted on. You'd get faster speed downloading from my cable modem based connection, which is very sad for a 1.8 gig download
BitTorrent is NOT an option that helps aside from a very select few, accessibility to the download is a HUGE thing for making your product sell far better.
Perhaps have a very small download and let the patch process take care of updating the missing files is one solution, but they need to get relocated to a service that has some serious bandwidth, or Ryzom will stay fringe forever..

Yeah, in addition the download often ends up corrupt. I've had it and seen many people complain of it ever since I started playing ages ago.
The BitTorrent did help at least with that but yeah, a speed increase would be nice.
Another thing which might be worth doing about is having a ring-free client option which would no doubt save a bucket load of download time.
As the Ring seems quite firmly disconnected from the real world/mainland it could just come up with an error 'you must install the Ring componant' if you try to join a scenario at a Ring point. And perhaps add a convert client option on the client startup menu which would download/install the bits needed for the Ring.
Not sure if it'd be posible or worth while but again, just something to think about.

Since ryzom is very client patch oriented, if you go to access the ring it could even tell you that it has to download and install that bit seperately, that would save a lot of hassle for the download hosting company (less bandwidth per month used).
Good idea

I dunno what the reasons are behind it, but i HATE the fact i cant look around for a agro mob aproaching me when im nuking some mob / healin another person....
I really cant see why some1 who melees can look around, while me the healer / mage cant
Would help so much if i could keep a eye on my suroundings.

And not be turned to your target? While I do find this a bit annoying too, I think it's intentional, to balance the power magic has in ryzom, healing is INSANE in its power, I can as non CG keep a high level team going on a shalah/plod hunt, with only 1 or 2 topups that's sickly overpowered, same as nuking really.
I thikn it's a balance mechanic really
