This entire thread makes the baby Jesus cry.

Can't all of you put the fighting aside for two whole days out of the year?

From what i can tell its devolved into: "Whaa some people who live on a different continent than I declared at a time that suits them!"

Grow up.

This game is supposed to be fun, not a whinefest.

Math can be a bit subjective, but there were more then 220 people at the last "1 am" Friday night fight AA hosted. It is my understanding that there were less then 10 attackers, most of whom now lurk in the PR waiting to find lone diggers, at each of the "4 am" morning attacks held during this last week.

lol outpost battle numbers come up...

I managed to attend one of those fights. there were a few more than 10 people there on the attackers side. And I didnt see you there carefully counting.

As I have been told so many times; "stop whining".

Well I am glad to hear, that I was misinformed on the number of attackers. A viable force that can capture an OP is much preferred to the return of the false declaration tactic.

For me it is not so much about the time, I think the system of 2 phases is sufficient to balance any declared time. It is the argument that the "free karavan" no longer have any choice but midnight raids, PR ganking and holiday declarations to rebuild their guilds because of the KA.

No member of the KA pushed that button on accident 3 times while caught in some sort of space time continuum that transported some poor soul to 3 different regions outposts. That was someone who acted without the consent of their leader and was deemed a bad thing by the guild who had the member trapped in the space-time rift.

Someone declared on 3 KA OP's on xmas eve and many are determined to blame the KA for it.

We all know politics and propaganda are just as much weapons as declarations, but I am going to give you some free advice. This present strategy will only make the KA stronger and weaken all those who participate in it.

Cries, cries, cries.....please just try to realize that you're now playing on a "world" share, windermeer is closed. ALL ka's attacks were set to 1 or 2 am for europeans. Did someone moaned about it ??? not me.
Now KA's are attacked on their early morning and it's a low attitude, miserable, harassment. Please guys, please......

and concerning PR assassinations, propaganda make you create a huge event/reputation from a sooo little thing.. i killed 3 peeps in Pr these last 3 weeks, and only 2 moaned about that :D I'm a PR digger mass murderer !!!

i think DT said sometime ago that when you get tagged up, you should be ready to die. Its the same as in a pvp zone.. if you get digging in a pvp zone you should be ready to die aswell. Right DT? ;)

in other words, you should be ready for everything. why moaning about it if you know it can happen?

Personally I probably wouldn't attend a battle on Christmas Day, but I fail to see how it's any different from any other day on Atys.

If people want to fight, let them. Why should anybody else try and dictate how they play their game just because some prefer to spend time with family and celebrate a religious holiday. Before you know it we'll be asked not to fight a week next Tuesday because its someone's birthday and there's a huge surprise party :P

Sorry about all this and trust that we wont go to any of this battles.

You've been true to your word - not a single attacker has shown to any of the three outpost battles declared by your guild's high officer.

The fourth battle, a counterdeclaration made on a kami-held outpost, is similarly uneventful, due to negotiations between the guild leadership of the attacking and defending guilds.

Thank you, and enjoy your holidays in peace, Riders on the Storm :)

People whine because it isn't fun. QED.
