Its the same now as it was months and months ago, and the same as it will be for months and months to come.

First, it's not really about PvP. Player can choose PvP or not, that's not the issue. It's about ability being neutral. Do You have any reason WHY neutral character can't use tp's to all the zones, where Kami or Karavan followers can? More important, why does game developers restrict game play from neutral players by it? Why they try to FORCE us to deside the side, Kami or Karavan?

Second You got it wrong, people aren't happy about the situation, they have just adjusted they game playing to the situation. Basicly this means some players grid for fame, so that they can get access to some TP's. Even if they would not have any reason to be Karavan or Kami. It's just one more must game thing to them to do. Basicly forced choise by game design.

Also about the issue comming up often? It will come up forever in this game untill the situation is fixed. It's about PvE players ability protect they rights to be neutral.

Issues.

1. Neutral should be able to get TP's to all same zones than Kami and Karvan followers can.
2. Neutral should be able to do missions without geting Kami or Karavan fame (because there is also other fames to get)

We should not have to do something agaist what we are, to get these benefits. We need game developers supporting neutral playing too. Why there is so few neutral players? Because game design is forcing with big rewards, us to choose Kami or Karavan. There is no benefit at the moment to be neutral in this game, only what You lose by doing it.

Well yeah, that is exactly the issue for some people. And the only bit I disagree with.

I Wouldn't mind giving neutrals PR and towns back, but I think Void,LoL,GoC and FF should stay faction TPs only... *Maybe give back GoC since neutrals had that before*

Really in a way TPs were sopposed to part of the reason behind going factioned, Otherwise why do it? ... But in this case I think it may solve alot of issues to just give neutrals the TPs they used to have, Just don't give them the new ones =p That way they didnt 'lose' anything but there is still a small reason to go factioned.

As the factions were sopposed to be the main drive of the story in Ryzom-- I do think it would be interesting to see a new faction(The Trytonist?) come up and get there own TPs

Why does this keep coming up ?

If the only reason to go factioned is because they will break your legs if you dont, perhaps factions arent worth having and need to be seriously rethought ?
If the PvP options, and Lore/storeyline fail to enthuse you about the factions, then either the story writers have totally screwed up... or, just maybe, neutrality is a valid part of the great ineffable plan.

And the factions being the main storyline.
I still dont beleive that.
The HOMINS are the main storyline, the Karavan, Kami, goo and Kitins are just the setting.

They are worth having cus of the TPs I went Kami in the first place because I had more Kami friends and my guild (AP) was/is Kami, Some people don't RP so need more then story for a reason to faction up, Thats where TPs and such come in.

Not necessarily saying its a good way of doing it btw
