I wasnt meaning to imply you were sounding off, was talking about those who die in pvp areas at the hands of other homins, and then start crying about it.

When its not world wide pvp, like I hear WoW is, flaming someone for killing you in a pvp zone seems pretty foolish to me . Constant world wide pvp would be a complete pain in the ass, even I accept that, but ryzom doesnt have this, we have optional consensual pvp.

So basically partaking in a system that you are already unhappy with, and expecting those who are perfectly happy with it to devalue their own game experience.

It is perhaps foolish to cry about it but even in an rp sense you can actively go out of your way to be nasty towards a person who killed you and talk bad about them. That fits perfectly into the rp of being killed by a bandit etc. Plus if someone killed me in an rp sense id bloody well shout at them not to do it again as it hurt lol.

Still as I said life isnt fair actions have consequences if I want to dig in a pvp area frankly without guards I know I'm going to die if an aod pops up while I'm in my dig gear etc. and someone who kills people in pvp zones has to be aware that they will most likely get a verbal earbashing in retaliation...

Yup, agreed. Would be ok if people could RP it, but mostly the rping ive seen resulting from that doesnt adhere the the CoC and sounds decidely OOC to me lol

It's player killing... in the form I'm referring to here I guess it would be non-consensual fighting leading to the death of a player.

I sometimes find it hard to RP while being shot with an autolauncher. Thats when I guess it comes out all wrong

Is pretty much what would come out when put in that sitation IRL (not likely i know )...
so is therefore completley valid RP imho....

(Without harsh expletives of course - that would be against CoC )
