That resentment is the controlling factor. I agree that cats attract some players, but not the majority.

If one alliance grows too powerful, the rest of the community begins to resent it, and that alliance begins to lose influence. They lose influence, they lose battles.


I haven't seen yet how GvG would not become stagnant. Larger numbers favor attackers, and therefore AvA is most likely to be the more dynamic system.

The mechanics would definitely need to be adapted for GvG, it wouldn't function well as it stands, not for anyone but large, high level Guilds anyway.

I need to think some more on this, but I have a couple of ideas formulating. :)
