Why would the guild in control of an outpost and paying for that and/or towers want the enemy to be able to freely port into an area they are spending resources to secure ?

they are only keeping the towers up so the kami / karavan have control over the region, they don't actually control it themselves.
also: that is somehting that is necessary in order for nevrax not to break their promise of pvp-switch off not changing the game experience.

besides, you're mixing things up: base&spires != outposts

And in a less one-dimensional world, DoubleTap, we are not all enemies. Option 3 was referring to civilians. Are civilians enemies to Melinoe?

Searched the lore and my gamebox... no mention of civilians. You mean those wearing armor and carrying weapons ?

People can create their own interpretations from what's going on around them and from the lore.

Who are all those people wandering around anyway? Are they all guards? What about the shopkeepers, the stableboy?

There's a ton of lore supporting a neutral position. I already promised Aajolea an essay on that though...

They would want that becous if that is no longer an option soon they would have nothing to be in controll over, since too many players will leave the game and Nevrax have to shut down the servers.

This war thing no longer have anything at all to do with lore or RP. Now it is strictly a matter of geting nevrax do take the necesary steps towards keeping their precious few subscribers. In my case that is a total opt out from pvp.

The sugestion from Xenofur above is a great way of solving the problem for me and probably allot of other players. The players that want the pvp will hae it and all others will stay unaffected by it.

Also i would really like it if there would be some form of faction channels for the chat so that I might have a chance of seeing another persons rez call in the region chan.

Answer 1 question PLEASE. Why not just leave those who have no interest in PvP out of it COMPLETELY. Very simple, you wanna fight for your faction, raise your faction fame to 20. Leave everything as you have done and make it available to everyone whose faction fame is 20 or more.

However, let those who are below 20 be neutrals.....let them continue to use the tp's of both sides. And forget that crazy idea of neutrals can be hit first but not strike first. They can't be striken without honor point penalty.....period.....in any of the mainland areas. In faction islands, wipe them out for all we care.

The most repeated thing in Guild Chat yesterday was "Goodbye guys, I'm done with this game." Among our leadership (10 peeps including GL, HO's and O's) only one was considering "sticking it out". The rest either already had or were planning to cancel substriptions with 1 or 2 saying "I gonna sleep on it".

If Nevrax persists in this direction, the "resume strike team" will likely be the most active in the coming months.

Better said, why would the Karavan / kami wanyt t rpevent smeone from using the teleporters UNLESS they had a reason to stop them. They still taking 12250 dappers from me and commerce is as good enough reason as any....let the worshippers travel for free.

Go read the post again. It say that you can set you PvP flag to "I Hate IT" and have no PvP involvement, you are a spectator.

Being Neutral, if you read the whole post, does not necessarily mean that you do not want PvP many in this thread have said Neutral fighting on both sides should be an option.



Neutral Faction wise Does not Equal "I hate PvP, and don't want to be involved in it" They are seperate concepts.

It seems they are understanding the PvP issues in relation to this content. The Neutrality issues are still in the air.
