* Take some of the 'hello sailor' out of the Tryker male run?
Just two more options within the key editor. One option where one can type in his default /run and the second where one can set his default /sit. All others should be available as /commands in the chat.

I like many of the new animations. They are useful but i dont want to have my toon bound to one of them.

BTW: If we ever get those animations as /emotes then i also want to have the Cute animations. I miss the /cute_sleep :) . serious: i dont want to have jump (jump would be nice, but jump is as evil as PvP if you ppl know what i mean) but i really miss the option to lie down.

Yes I agree that they can't have the animators/designers sat around while the coders write new stuff but there are so many other things they could have worked on. Broken things for a start.

Such as the emotes. How about fixing them? How about giving us a full set and stop the problems of emotes getting mixed? I type /wave my avatar bows! I type /wave again, my avatar waves. I've had similar occasions where I get a bow for something completely unrelated. They could have fixed those first.

It just smacks of make work to me. "What can we do to keep the animators busy?" I still think they have their priorities all wrong.

those are database problems, not animation problems. the program simply calls the wrong animations and that's nothing that a 3d artist should tinker with. ;)

That's a code problem, not a animation problem. Since, as you know, the animations are there.
It's the same with the mount bug, code again. Either it is animated too fast or the animation is played at the wrong location and thus appear invisible to others.

On another note, I am curious about how many objected to the statues being made, they too where made by the art department.

If you aren't happy with the vision of the game, stop playing. No one is forcing you to play Ryzom. It is your priviledge to play this game, not the game having you here (I don't mean that offensively at all). The creators should listen to the community on many issues, but I don't feel that changing the creative vision of the game based on monetary income would help anyone. There are some things in this world more important than money - I feel that expressing creativity is one of them.

As for other posts - I can't believe that some of you are getting so up in arms about this. Nevrax is GIVING you something - you should be careful about biting the hand that feeds you. Granted, some changes are more important than others, but as has been stated many times, different people work on the graphics and animation than on the coding for ranged weapons and outposts. I don't think that most people who voted actually understood how things work (perhaps I am the one that doesn't understand).

Not liking the animations is fine. Voting "no" just to be spiteful because you didn't get what you want is silly and I think I speak for everyone by saying that you should have just not voted at all.

Again, no one is forcing you to be here - if you aren't happy, please don't ruin it for everyone else.

Are you asking 48.81% of the players to leave the game?

I like most of the new animations, but some need some work. If they are going to fix the animations either way, why not wait till they get them finished first?

Ack, I wanted it too. But it's no big deal, can always emote it.

*walks away like a Gibbai. Suddenly starts running for the horizon with loose wrists like a tryker, shouting back* "Hey I am a Matis woman, we weren't getting much changes anyway!!"
