I am glad to see the increased opportunitys for role play, vibrant interaction, and responsible behavior that PVP has brought out in our community.

The added depth of gameplay and content that PvP brings is on display in this thread for all to see.

I am excited to see more of it, and I applaud the descision to implement PvP over actual content.

No amount of sarcasm is going to stop it. You're just going to have to deal with it. PvP is coming to the game and there is nothing you can do about it.

Anyone wanna take a stab at why this is turned into such a huge war? You think it might be because too many people are holding on to grudges and stubborn ideals? I've seen what this community can create, and it's not pages like this. Brithlem was simply stating that we'd be taking an attack if attacked status on AP and ON. This we all know. Then we have happy fun times of Audrey saying 'No more PvP for me!', only to go and start dropping peoples again. I'm not saying I want this discussion gone, I just would like people to take half a minute, and think about what they're typing. Do things like... spell... and punctuate. And not base their opinions on old stupid crap that they've never really thought about. There is no reason for this to have evolved into such a fierce and thoughtless debate.

Ok, I think its rare that ppl change so drastically. As Infinity and to a lesser extent Omega V have had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time gathering the reputation of guilds that gank, bot and generally spoil the fun for other players, its gonna take them a while gathering the reputation that they are an ok guild now, if thats what their intention is.
Its all very well to say 'oh we wont be bad any more' but seeing is believing and you guys seem to have a lot of ground to make up with a lot of ppl so good luck and stay fluffy

I dig in the Lands of Umbra, when the need takes me.... I usually find it empty and devoid of people. I when I do encounter the 'fearsome' pro PvP players they are usually all alone, quite friendly or AFK I have witnessed the good and the bad. I express my opinion, as do you.

Its a shame you have decided to quit, you would have been a perfect example of what PvP brings with it. PvP in its own right is not a bad thing, if its in its rightful place and all involved enjoy it.

OOC: I come from a background of PvP... Doom, Quake, Halflife, Counterstrike & PlanetSide. (To name but a few)

If you play a character that says one thing and does another .... sorry but in my book that makes the character you play a liar, plain and simple.

Stand point on Infinity - Prove it and re-earn the community trust, it will be a much harder battle to win the any PvP fight in the roots.

This is yet again one of the funniest and dumbest threads I've ever read, good luck infinity with your little peace thing and all you other with your "I'm gonna kill all you Pr diggers etc etc etc" stance

personally my experiences of PvP have been rather pleasent and as in this game its sooo obvious who's gonna win the fight before you start it just makes it pointless.

I do however sometimes wonder if some people roleplay on this forum as "dumb PvP'er" just for fun

oh and last comment, but I've been diggin Pr alot lately and not seen a single PvP'er and pulled quite a bit of sup. thinking of it the closest I got to a challenge to my diggin was "hey man mind if I dig this source too". I think the whole PvP seems to be based around a few "vocal"(read bored/passionate/silly/mentally unbalanced as you see fit) people
