They are many reason of killing in Prime Root.. some kill other for RP (Kami/Karavan), for me it's nice. Some kill for Supreme mats (Supernodes), for me it's nice. Some kill for fun, for me it's nice.

The PvP flag doesn't seem to be certain whether it is going to be there or not. Outposts are hooked into PvP, FvF area spread hooks into PvP.
it is quite certain and was also confirmed in the german forums, there will be two kinds of zones:
1. whole atys FvF, participation there only after speaking with a certain npc
2. certain event-focused zones forced FvF, example: fyros, near frahar hunters

What is the big stigma with PvP? Worried that you'll get killed once or twice by someone who doesn't like you? How often do you REALLy think that is going to happen, compared to how often you play? Is the prospect of killing another player so utterly terrible that you can't even think of doing it? What is so bad about a conflict between the different factions?
If everyone is so insistent on being so nice and friendly, why even have factions? Everyone should just be a homin with no loyalties...no Kami, no Karavan. Why align yourself with something if it doesn't matter in the sense of the gameplay/story/anything?
With the past conflicts between these races I would think there would be some bad blood. Only taking a couple events to set things in motion. Perhaps it could be something worked into the storyline and the conflict will facilitate more RP...just of the not so nice, "I don't like you for (insert reason here)" variety.
What do you do when you have gotten a combat skill to 250? Just abandon it and start something else? What was the point...really? AI can only present so much of a challenge, especially when they just come in waves and there is no scripting to the battles. Nuke/heal enough and you win.
Hopefully outposts will be more than just a place to go kill people. I hope to see them actually have elements that take all professions into mind. However I do think that fighting should be something included in these elements. Also, I hope to see FvF zones actually have some impact on region control and what not, so it actually means something (unlike contested territory in WoW, which really isn't contested).
Onelast question. Is there a way to transfer to the French server, or make a character on there? I'd be interested to know.

Don't think there is much of a stigma you either like it or you don't. Anyone who plays PvP does not care if they get killed it happens all the time. Ganking is usually mentioned but this is usually blown out of proportion, some people get confused about what ganking is and say they are being ganked just because they have been killed again by the same player.
There maybe bad blood between the races does that mean it has to be war.
WoW's contested lands are contested all except the outpost. But who wants to guard a piece of land when there is better things to do with your time.
Who is PvP aimed at here the bored level 250's and to try and bring back players that have left? It's certainly not aimed at new players. Most of the servers in WoW are full PvP with good reason that's where the players that like PvP want to be. They don't want to be on a hybrid server, people that I've spoken to that have come from the hybrid servers to the PvP servers wish they had done it sooner. There is only 1 PvE(PvE/PvP) server there that has a constant high population and many more PvP ones. So what does that tell you? It tells me that people wanting PvP want PvP not PvE/PvP.
Server info based on English servers
So I ask again who is this PvP aimed at?

Great post btw Jyudas, he hee.
One day soon the devs will stop fiddling with their nuts and we shall all enjoy their vision for the game. For about a day, then we will go back to Jalfrezi... and poppadoms.
