I still don't belive that someone will kill for mats. But you never know, only time will tell.

To me there's to much YES or NO on this thread, there are other means!

As everyone has friend since game your hardly gonna be fighting them in PR, more likely to be your allies, take it in turns for helping each other etc,

Bribe people who want to kill you!
Form teams
Form peace treaties with guilds
Form alliances

Expand your minds please!

To me it would the game more challenging, and as far as games goes there isnt much of challenege in this one yet, just hours or hours of mindless levelling!

And I think a lot of the negative opinion comes from the fact this game has low player base level, not really seen any pvp yet, or gvg, yet to develop, as they said the story develops with the players, people fear change!!

If you get zapped after a long trek to PR - does that make you more determined? It would me! Id like to find the little critter and squash him, or / also go back with help hoping he/she show up again!

IMO, harvesting is lonely enough so why not encourage more peeps to be around you!

I can remember one of the first game reviews of this (why I buyed it some months later) saying how'd you have to get a team to protect you whilst harvesting!

I know why ppl say they hate tryker

I cannot think of anyone who hates the Tryker. The way the Lake Lands are organised makes the Tryker people used to hardship, slower leveling and unconditional help in any circumstance.

Anyone read the novels from Weiss and Hickman, The Deathgate series? When walking though other lands, I keep feeling I escaped from the labyrint

It was clear from begin. I don't harvest in PR a lot (made a level yesterday after more then a month), but some day i'll continue. And really not looking forward to die cos of 10 mats, someone thinking he's "rolepaying" or whatever (IMO) stupid reason. /rp off, /pvp off

Most of the mats i harvest are just for grinding and don't think someone will kill me so he can make "pike of sap load" or "armor of lightnes". Good mats if in season usually have some mob around to say "hi" anyway. if someone kill you while harvesting supreme smart shell or perfling bark, it's not cos of mats.
