I found out tonight IG what was going on. So now what when the invation takes place and our cafters a foragers havnt put enough guards out there we lose the city or the region. Wow thats agreat idea, good plan. To bad it was implemented so poorly
Ya know, the very first NPC I talked to on Friday evening spelled this whole thing out for me. It was the crafter NPC in Bounty Beaches. He said to gather resources for the harvester NPC that I could then collect with the coupons to craft material for the defense. But like most everyone else, I was too stuck in the rut of "knowing" what to expect from an invasion that it didn't sink in.
No, they didn't hold our hands at first and tell us in the forums exactly where to go and what to do. But the information WAS there all along if we had the wit to see it.
Basically, they threw an event at us that was so much more involved than any previous event that we all got caught off guard.

You were lucky. The first npc I ran into was the supply master and that was very confusing. Your in tryker. Maby it was easier there but it was a mess in Fryos.

Ok maby the event isn't so bad once you got it figured out. But, ill tell you this they sure got this off to a bad start. It realy made some people upset and confused. So next time guys give a little more guidance to start people off please. Seem to think we like to not know whats going on.

I tried to forage im lvl 70 desert forge. message your stanzas are too low.
Craft, im lvl 56 dont have the plans for the weapons asked for. Fight im 130 2h melee this is not realy a fighting event is it. aaaaah just frustrated. This event wet the bed.
What foraging stanzas were you using? Being lvl70 wont help if you are using lvl 40 stanzas. You may want to check that. In Knott of Dementia I was harvesting secretions with Q50 extraction stanzas. My overall foraging level was only 51. I was delighted that a low level player like me could make a contribution to the war effort. I'm sorry for your frustration and hope things go better for you soon. Don't give up. Your people need you.

Who here has played command and conquer, or warcraft, or warlords, any rpg game where you have to gather resources, build armies, kill your enemy.
This is a bit on scale with all those, but in a different 3d world.
We ALL work together to make the army, not just 1 person with point and click, this is every person with tons of point and clicks.
Same effect, we will win if we have filled all of our towers and camps with troops, we will loose if we don't.

Since you know so much. What will happen if we loose? Will kitins roam our land then constantly? Will they destroy our towns and kill all NPCs? Will this whole thing have a lasting effect?

I got the same message a bit ago in Dyron [before the event! They must have put the secretions in about a week or so ago since I was "Harvest n Drop" ing them on the 1st/2nd Jan] The problem was either a bug [which was mentioned here on the forums then - after which a second harvest attempt on the same node would work] or due to not using a high enough quality on the prospecting stanza. The node popped on a "Fine or less", but wouldn't let me dig...I can't remember if it took excellent or supreme, but after using the higher quality stanza, the node popped AND was harvestable. Just my experience then...no chance to get back and try after event started [patch 40] to try to re-create this...

Shall we find out?
I vote that one race, does nothing to help
Then we will know for sure.
