I agree with the last two posts. Also, going back to the original post in this thread, "Death Penalty that is merely a minor annoyance", I don't believe that is an innovation or even a good idea. Now if this game implemented some type of perma-death, that would at least be innovative (I recognize many people hate the idea). Unfortunately, having light death penalties is more the norm than the exception in MMO's. Thus you get ridiculous inflation in high-level characters, high level items, high level everything.

Even if they put in PermaDeath there are about 3 games coming out within the year that have that implemented. A gaming company just needs to come up with a radical new point of view for a mmorpg and stop following in the footsteps of the latest and greatest.zukor wrote:I agree with the last two posts. I know about Mourning. Trials of Ascension is another but probably won't be out for at least 2 years, if ever.
