Hmm, only just got to this thread :(

Well Fuzz, I have to say two things:

1) Jyudas is certainly no troll, in fact this is the first negative post that I've seen from him, on any of these forums
2) You have been sliding down that slippery slope in the past few days, posting a few things that really weren't neccessary for a player who is leaving

Come on mate, you've been good on these forums up to now, you've made some interesting and funny posts :) Don't go out on a sour note - you know your posts won't get things fixed any quicker, you also know that it doesn't matter to you anymore, and I'm sure people would prefer to remember you as a quality player/poster.

In reply to your post tetra, congratulations for getting those levels - you've obviously worked very hard, given the current situation with ranged weapons. It's a big shame for me really - I had this vision of people taking up ranged weapons to defend their cities, and started crafting with that in mind. At the moment, all the SP I spent is pretty much wasted, and since I'm now crafting armour, I really could use them for other things.

Let's hope ranged weapons are fixed real soon - I know many people would like to use them :)

... and the "fixed your typo" piece by him was meant to achieve what exactly?

Hey Neo, didn't I read something a while back, in a tiny thread, about them fixing peoples fame that was screwed up due to that? Wasn't actualy on then, or in the hanging gardens, so wouldn't personaly know, but did you get that negative kami fame befor or after they put up the warnings about the bug?

Just curious.

A couple of days after the patch. About an hour or so after the patch announcements were made in regards to an unintended faction pvp feature being accidentally carried over from the ATS. It was also announced that it would be fixed the next day. A couple of days later I was travelling through the Fleeting Gardens, unaware that the bug hadn't been fixed yet... as I was passing through Matis/Karavan lands at the time I chose Karavan at the pvp zone prompt. Bad move, I know... but oh well, **** happens and I paid the price. I discussed the problem with Takashi and he sent it on up to see if anything could be done to fix it. Takashi investigated the problem further, getting several other characters to go through Fleeting Gardens chosing different factions at the prompt. The next day Cerest made the post clarifying the issue in regards to the fame bug, in which it was stated that any fame loss due to this bug is permanent and cannot be restored.

I was very annoyed at the time to see my much loved character get ruined just prior to the implementation of rites and the encyclopedia. Kind of ironic how I worked fame all that time only to have it stripped away when it might actually mean something. I may have continued gaming in Ryzom quite happily if this hadn't occurred.

.. and yeah I know I trolled the boards a bit in the last few days before my account died.. I think I had reason to be annoyed.

I guess I could have continued my endless, rather pathetic, mission running to attempt to restore my once maxxed out fame. However I was already kind of fed-up with undocumented changes, unaddressed bugs and balancing issues. It took a few days to make my mind up, in which time I played out almost until my account expired and passed on everything I had to friends who could make use of it all.

I'm not too phased by it anymore. It's done and I'm over it already. My account expires in a few hours, and for the most part I had a good time in Ryzom.

Soooo... that's all folks.

To register my annoyance and disgust with your sudden and constant dissing over one, likely fixable (eventually) problem that you've had making you overly negative and spitting that negativity wherever you post.

'Fixed your typo' is an RPGNETism.

Man 169 fame is a big problem. And I think Nevrax told him they weren't gonna fix it. Would YOU be so kind as to have given him all your event mats? It would have required a sacrifice of several people's fame and rewards in events to get him where he was. That being said, when has an even occured since the bug?

Fuzz was high level, and worked hard on his skills and found his time completely wasted. The only thing you should be disgusted with is yourself for being an apathetic fool who's only reason for posting that was to make you feel better about yourself.

edit:
Sorry for bringing things off topic.

Tetra my craft in ammo is twice my ranged skill. I admire the perserverence you had to level it so high!

The guy is leaving and made a very moderate & balanced "farewell" post (#14 in this thread). This response by you is uncalled for.
