problems in pov here, it seems.
the gm you spoke to said it was ok to do it, what he didn't mention is that you wouldn't get any support if that broke something.
also, this is not against the eula, the eula states not to change files of the client. the client consists of the executables and datafiles and reads in external configuration files, we are changing those, not the client.

Devs and Nervax can do what they wish with this thread, leave it or deleting it, but..

My personal EULA states that:

If my ability to enjoy the game is hindered in any possible way like for example eliminating the option for me to change this game in any screen resolution I desire and even by removing the visible config file in a later patch, this automatically forms a reason of immediate cancelation of any future subscription.

Hmm, I´ve tried ten times to change the resolution, like you said, but it doesen´t work for me. I dont know why, I followed the steps like you have described, but when I´m ingame the resolution is always 1024x768.
Maybe you can tell me the settings,you have in the configuration menue, do you run it in the windowed mode?
Altough it runs in 1024x768, I would prefer 800x600

Oh, I forgot to ask how the fonts can be changed

Hmm, an ingame talk will not be possible, because I´m playing on the German Server .
But if you activate your Private Messages, it should be possible to talk about it

Wish I knew how I can do this, it seems I cant find a control panel for this forum account, and checking in the registration account has nothing about such an option.

I will not argue semantics. If you change any file in the client directory you are violating the EULA. Plain and simple, case closed.
