On that note, I really wish I could heal mobs. You know, make sure the Timari kills the gingo. I don't see why I shouldn't be able to!

We get to KNOW what season it is??? *faints*
Not all of us live in Matisian areas or other areas that get the OBVIOUS signs like umm I don't know...maybe SNOW.

As a Fyros, this fix is MAJOR for me, as big or bigger than the packer fix. I mean what do Fyros have to tell us the season...brown palm trees
and they are brown when...not sure, but they are green for a while, then brown.

I would LOVE a calander or /time command, but...I will LOVE this new feature just as well.

helbreat wrote:lol no one has noticed the season/weather indicator on the map now? :o harvesters best friend if it worked properly in pr :D weather changed earlier as the mats i was looking for said that i cant get them now due to the weather but the map stayed the same :( it does change tho as i went to fyros and it said it was raining.... in the desert of all places

It is these kinds of "listen to the players" kinds of fixes, additions and other changes that make me BELIEVE that they will listen to players on other more important issues.

Not to start a discussion on it, but like PVP. SOME want/need it, maybe they are honest when they say that they want the challenge...maybe not, and for thost players, most of those that agree with me also want them to get what they want....and a way for those of us that chose peaceful ways to get what WE want.

I see the solution as a seperate server, but maybe if they programmed in the opt out option (toggle switch not TOO dissimilar to the micro vegitation check box), then that might work.

*ponders* *evil grin spreads across face* come to think of it...it would actually be BETTER.

*vision becomes visable to all*

*ubber leet pker sneeks up on Lyrah while she is harvesting and rubs his evil hands together, he is going to kill ANOTHER harvester and is savoring his moment*

*Ubber leet PKer casts slashes and waves swords in the air*

*Lyrah's hair is mussed but not too much more*

Hey! do you mind, I think this thing is about to *materials node explodes killing ubber leet PKer* blow up...Ooops. Sorry mate, I didn't carry my healing gloves with me, not sure my weak heals will rez you in time. *heals in slow motion* Ooops, well, maybe later.

. Your mektoub packer's inventory has been increased from 64 to 256 slots, enjoy

Am I missing something? When I looked my packer still had the same size inventory and was still as full!

. When a mob or a character dies, it still stays as your main target and in the contextual menu updates. You won't have to target the dead corpse.

Fantastic, that was always annoying. Did take me a few minutes to get used to not having to reselect though! :)

[ T R A D E]

. There is now more options available when dealing with a merchant:
- the player can set up a percentage of margin when using a merchant to sell to other players.
- prices are now displayed twice : one takes fame into account, the other not.
- the price difference between an item sold to a player via the vendor and to a NPC is now displayed.
- a player doesn't have to use the checkbox to choose between selling to the NPC or allowing the NPC to sell the item for him. Instead, there will be two different buttons, explicitly labeled. The one to sell to the merchant only can be activated by hitting the Enter key, the one to let the merchant sell the item to other players can be activated by Shift-Enter keys.

Am I the only one who found the new interface a little confusing at first?

. You can now consult the weathercast on your map (written on the top of the window).

Darn I missed that! Very useful in Fyros!

Its slots not bulk, I had a conversation with a GM about this last night, the bulk weight of 500/500 has not changed, however, if your packer had originally 64 items on it, but the bulk was not 500, say your bulk was only 300/500, the packer could still not hold any more items (different items)

So what they did was increase this space 4 fold, so now you can have something like 256 (or whatever it was) different items, up until the bulk is filled.

Actually they do post all the additions. Near the top of the main page click on Release Notes on the left hand side.

Nope, they didn't list the change in ammo production for pistol and rifle(40 per combine instead of 24), nor did they list that corpses will now be yellow dots on your compass instead of the usual orange. Probably other things as well.
