So for the people who didn't understand what I wanted to say:

I guess dodge was never meant to be as good as parry anyway. But why sholud an armor get you a BONUS to dodge? All it could do is to hinder you in your movement.
So the light armor is the one which hinders lest but offers no real protection (0 modifier).
Medium armor offers more protection (+x parry) but is cumbersome (-x dodge).
Heavy armor, as the name says, is something you do not want to "run" around with (-x² dodge) but offers the most protection (+x² parry).
So the malees are happy for the protection, the mages and rangers are happy not to be slowed down (believe me, in higher rangelevels you cannot walk around in even a medium armor, the stamcost is hilarious).

Heh, you actually use light armor with ranged weapons? Hope you have a healer around. :)
