Add to that the fact that Tryker helmets and Fish bowls or primative diving suits are TOO similar to discount the possiblity of them being related.

If swimming needs, I also suggest running need too.

Currently I'm not using walking as I see no purpose in doing do.

However, I do not want to spent many minutes moving to my destination thus I vote for no for swimming and running.

I'm here for fun not for a real world simulator :)

Can't expect us poor homins to invent them ourselves, can we?
We'll just have to wait for someone to "teach" us.
Pretty fair considering it takes crafting 1 and a spear plan just to make a pointy stick. ;)

I think the original post is a horrible ideal I run everywhere I go and it uses no stam, nor should it. Swimming doesn't need to use stam either. Now if they add diving or underwater swimming, perhaps that could use some stam usage system. Just trying to make moving around the world more difficult for the sake of difficulty isn't fun.

No, No, No.
No boats and loseing stam from swimming, no food and drink.
Those are the kinds of pointless, confusing, complicated extra crap that made EQ suck wind .

What makes this game fun is those little annoyances or plesantly absent
