That's something I'd love to see in an MMORPG, something all the EQ-esque MMORPGs lacked.

star wars galaxies had a great system for that but it was skill consuming to be a politician and run a town we had to buy a seperate acc for mayor/bio engineer/chef heh brandy making mad scientist to run a town was a great idea tho

we are going to be able to buy outposts at later dates i think not sure when or how itll work tho

About the content, right now its offering some task missions of kill this, bring me that and scout out there.

Patch2 should introduce the real content, the main story/eventline, i hear tidings from the ATS ( Adavnced Test Server ) that parts of the real content is indeed implemented on the test server and heading our retial way

As servers are down, i will log into ATS soon

Oooh... So the standard MMO quests are already implemented? Good =p





I have only one wish in MMORPG's: Become a mayor of a real NPC city, or something, heh.


Heard its going to be possible in Dark And Light, players can become real nobility, and when they're like, Prince (highest player rank), they can actually shape their entire faction. Sounds fun, tbh.

No seriously, this might be implemented sometime in the future, heck angels,devils, and demons somehow make their way into the story line, so the idea of running a little NPC town is not far-fetched.

angels devils and demons in ryzom? o.0 would be nice to have more areas to explore. the roots are pretty good but not sure if its just my lvl being too low but none of the missions in there work for me

having controll of an outpost and being able to have enough space inside it to have merchants for for guild sales to the public would be nice worked really well in star wars galaxies having towns all over the place run by diff guilds and such

About your outpost comment... after patch 2 guilds *should* be able to take over outposts and own them and such.

I'm a Fyros in some desertish land, looks good... but kinda lacks in the sound department :S

Aye, I can't stand being in the desert, plenty of sounds in the Jungle though! Good luck.
