Ok in all fairness you all deserve a little insight as to my depression and why I really needed the laugh from this post.

A month ago (as of the 5'th of december), my wife and I seperated do to differences of oppinion on a few things.

During the past 4 weeks, although I have been trying my best to keep a bright smile and a bright outlook on things, I have been falling deeper into a depressed state.

So I emerse myself in my work, the boards, the game, my new place, reading, anything to keep my mind off the situation, since there is nothing I can do about the situation.

When someone falls out of love with you and moves on with there life, it is next to impossible to just pickup and move on with yours.

So, I have also been digging deeper into the history of the game, trying to find a more creative way to be a member of Atys based on my Races history.

As a player, I have assisted all races make it to all lands on many occasions with many guilds.

Fought side by side with every player race in great encounters.

Been a party to 2 of the 3 major in game events.

I would like to help to see the player base enjoy the game and learn more of the core history through involvement in events that help to shape the lands.

That said, I don't see how a re-inactment of the Trykers getting freed from the Karavan or Matis is a bad thing (yea I have to re-read that enslavement part to try to get it right)

It also gives you, the players, more to do

This is my life as it stands today.
Probably to much information, but a good spot to just blow steam and explain my actions. Hiding it, just makes it boil inside and harder to live with.

its sucks that you are having such troubles in RL but you are a good player and i am gald you are with us zumwalt.

I think that packers SHOULD be able to be transfered in some manner, if a kami/karavan can port ME, they should be able to port ME and my Packer too.

As it is...I am not sure HOW to transfer the thing from zone to zone. Maybe we need a neutral Fedpacker (packer porters that are NEITHER fame affiliation).

Another option/suggestion would be up the packers to FOUR total, not including a mount when that option is opened. OR allow the packers to run at roughly THREE times the "normal homin" run speed (not the buffed speed with speed up or any bugs). That way they would at least stand a chance at getting from One territory to another (Matis to Fyros or vise versa).

Have all the mats set aside on your packers when you go off to far off land. You can than craft it off there to put in the vendors. Other stuff...? Well I dunno, do you really need more than you carry with you in armament?

I am all for a way to transport packers around, even at some cost, like 20,000 dappers or something.

I don't know if they can go through portals, that might be my next test, but they do run really fast, atleast twice as fast as the average homin.

I got a few things I want to try with them once I get the dappers, I'll get back with you on the results.

(note: they gave me my space packer back this weekend, thanks for that)

So everyone, pay close attention to Cerests posts for patch 27, seriously, it will be good for all of you who decide to take advantage of it!

thats actually a nice patch.... one time deal only... I wonder if we can use this at ANY time in out Ryzom life... or is it just a limited time use... i hope its the former...

When open pvp gets done, we should all just go enslave the trykers again!
