New whine

OK, actually british people whine more than than americans (I should know, I'm english) - although americans usually whine using their lawyer and a lawsuit (Again, we brits are apparently catching up in that regard...)

Anyhow, back to your point! I have to say this isn't whining, and I think people should look at the whole deal here. Firstly, you didn't take all the packers with you in the first place. Secondly, the patch notes mentioned an auto-return to your home city - this didn't happen.

Obviously (before you all start ranting ), the developers did not intend for this to happen. Well, that doesn't matter - at a time when players are coming *and* going from this game, they should be aiming to please as many players as possible (no I don't mean free ports for everyone ). This is a blatant cock-up, whichever way you look at it, and to expect a player to suffer this kind of problem because of Developer/Patching errors, isn't very good democracy is it?

Come on devs, quit with the black-and-white 'no teleporter' rubbish and send Atanna back where you *said* she would be Some people asking for teleports have genuine reasons eh?

have you seen some of the poor lowbies in zora and tryker who went there for the event to help kami/karavan allies? lol they made the event go on till gone 1:30 am in the morning and then took away the teleporters. some people who started in the event earlier in the evening then maybe had to go to bed or stuff then end up stuck in the other towns. since they didnt get any portals on the way to those lands they cant die and respawn there way back either, they also get told the same as Atanna that they cant be teleported back home i saw a guy saying in zora if he couldnt get back to his homeland (fyros) he was going to quit as he was low lvl along for the event for fun not to get stuck in a foreign land lol

There is a thread in the North American General concerning the exact same thing concerning the packers.

On the comment about the event, I have a guild mate we have been trying to get home since that event on Windimeer, he's still out there trying

It taught me keep a couple if tickets in my pack though <sigh>

Not 100% sure on this, but I heard the patch is designed to make it so you couldn't put things on your packer when you were nowhere near a stables period. For example - someone said they were able to drop mats onto their packers while in the nexus. Which if they are only doing that, then there is no worry.

If they are making it so you have to be at the stable where they are shacked up, then while less than good, you can at least take advantage of the port passes you already have. (It's not perfect, but it is a little more realistic in a way, I haven't been able to access my apartment from other towns).

In regards to the original post, yea thats kinda messed, and they should have some way of rectifying it, since well, they did port your meks there in the first place, but thats just my opinion.

If this is a whine then let me whine some more... I want my packers back in Fairhaven!

Due to this latest patch I can no longer access two of my Meks in Fairhaven were I bought it and need it most because they were transported to Yrkanis after patch 1. Now I may be a whiner but I am not happy with this. I did not ask for my packers to be transported to Matis but until now it didn't bother me, now however I have a problem and since I'm not the one who caused it I would like the ones who did to fix it...

The way I see it the problem with the packers can be solved in several ways:
1. the packers are returned to the place they were bought.
2. we are allowed to have more packers (3 in every area that has stables)
3. you will no longer risk loosing your packer when you take it with you on your journeys

i just realized i have the same problem axilis ...
Was in matis when the patch hit, and now 2 of my packers (only had two at the time) are in a stable there. Wont be too pretty after patch.

As for Euro/Yank whining, you all excel at it, happy ?

Well i thought I would get on with it and sell my packers and move the goods to where i was and buy some more.

BUT NO..... as i tried to sell my packers I found i can't.. so i spoke to a GM only to told that it is not possible, well i took it as another patch that caused more problems than it fixed.

according to the description you can't sell packers to npc's you can however sell them to other players not sure it'll do you much good but still

Well he never said that just said it had to be empty... then came back and said there was a problem just now, no more details, but no u can't sell them just now.

But i'm not standing around for the next month waiting for some one to buy a packer off me thats daft.

so if i can't sell them back, its 600K for nothing kill the three i have and buy three more where i want them, every time i move location as my lvls change.

It makes sense to have a storage system that can be accessed in all towns, like most games have, this is just stupid totaly stupid.

so everytime you are on a hunt you have to tp back to where you left your packers to drop stuff off. Utter rubbish and another nail in the coffin of my subscription to this game.


I think they have come to the conclusion that this game will make a loss and these patches are just trying to clear us all out so they can close it down.
