How often do you see two goodbye posts from one author within 8 spots of each other? This just strikes me as odd.

this game is so dead and its become a hardcore game .

i mean now its hard , no population , no time to chit chat.

no fun

no point

no story

and the best bit is people always reply

" well patch number 2232 which is due out 2024 march time will have xxxxx added to the game . crist the game has only been out a few months give it a few years "

if somebody can give me a very good and i mean goood reason to reinstall this game please tell me.

WELCOME FROM THE WHINE CLUB :

Todays whine is a special batch. We hope you enjoy this little number. Yes we know it repeats a little but, I think it gets better the second time around.
The start is hard and abrupt but then it mellows as it progresses but the end, oh the end is very sweet and I think just a bit humorous.

If you like this whine dont you worry we should have it in stock for a good six months.

Games are for entertainment. If you are not entertained, you should find something else to do - probably a different game that suits your style.

It sucks about the 6 months, I think the EULA says no refunds. However, in a similar situation, I once gave to a friend a few months of an EQ subscription when I needed to quit. They were quite happy about being given something they wouldn't have bought on their own. I'm sure you can find something constructive to do with that subscription besides hanging around and crying in your beer.

about the people telling 'give it a few years' this is what I am leaving :) I am giving it a few years... I will play another game in the meanwhile. in 2 years or so I will probably be dead so why bother?

First of all, I don't see what the pope has to do with any of this...
(see thread title)

I am having a lot of fun in my life, but it's not as cool as someone elses.... like Price Harry or Tom Cruise. Can any of you talk me into staying here... cause really, I bet if reincarnation is real I'll have more fun in another life. No sense going on when things might get better.

Today I got up, had a big dook, ate some breakfast and brushed my teeth before my shower. Usually I brush after my shower, but today I was feeling fiesty. That is a small portion of the story of my life. Is it interesting? Probably not. However, if I had skipped over that part of my day I'd be at the office, smelling like sweat and breath of the dragon. My hair would be greasy and standing on end. My stomach would be empty and I'd want to smack someone. So you see, though that was a small part of my day, and not very interesting, tomorrow when I have my luncheon with my boss, he'll probably appreciate that I'm not two days stinky and may even give me a raise.

You cannot expect every day of a MMORPG to be an epoch struggle where the devs lead us through a single simple story. The stories of most online RPGs take place over a period of time, and as such there will be periods where the story IS the interaction between players. WE are building the story on the basics that the devs give us. If you are not having fun, perhaps you are soloing just a tad too much. Teaming up is ESSENTIAL for building your char. YES THE MANUAL IS CRAP... that I think is the PRIMARY barrier for this game. The learning curve is steep, but the rewards are great. You just need to take the time to ask people in-game.

Just in the past two weeks we've seen a WICKED vendor system put in place, an in-game MP3 Player that works and will use my Winamp playlists, an assasination attempt, the in-game guild forums are up. And of course the story additions mentioned by others in this thread. The customer service is pretty fantastic too, I have never been in a game where the support staff answers you immediately, as happens here in most cases. Kudos to Nevrax there.

You aren't going to get a snippet of story EVERY day. This game is all about exploring and teamwork. Not a day goes by where I don't at some point say HOLY CRAP WHAT WAS THAT THING THAT KILLED ME???? There is a DP cap, and you still gain XP when you have DP, so in the end I am not worried about death, it makes it interesting. Though I'm also not the kind of person who gets all pissy about things like when a friend owes me $5 or I have to stand in line for 1/2 an hour. Life is too short to have a banana up your butt.

Many events and quests / etc have been reported in the past day. I saw a few new wandering quest/invasion related MOBs, quest/dialogue NPCs, etc in the hour I logged in yesterday.
